Lovely house, great location

My friend and I stayed in this lovely home for 5 nights. It was clean, close to restaurants and places to hike. On our second day we notified Melinda that we had an issue with the shower curtain rod and within minutes she come over to assess the problem. Melinda and Mike were quick to replace the curtain rod and there were no issues after that. I've stayed in several rental homes and this is the best one yet. And our hosts were wonderful to work with.

We had a lovely three days at the property. The location is close to downtown as well as to many beautiful parks and beaches in the area. It is a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to the area.

Amazing apartment!

This is one of the best VRBO stays that we've had. The apartment is large and exactly like the photos. The hosts were accessible if needed and helpful with hints of where to eat. I can't express just how comfortable we were in this quiet space. This only thing I would tell readers would be to not book if you have any mobility issues. The space is above a three car garage and you must carry your bags up a good flight of outside stairs. We knew this, and booked anyway because the place looked so lovely. We both have mobility issues so the climb was difficult for us but worth it. Also we both developed colds so those beds were wonderful places to rest! Thank you and I hope we can come again!

Perfect home base

Melinda and Mike have created a true “home away from home”. Our family of 4 slept wonderfully on comfortable beds. Having separate sleeping spaces for everyone was a huge win. There were plenty of amenities in the kitchen to cook whatever we wanted and we loved having a private deck to ourselves to enjoy Victoria weather. The location is a perfect jumping off point to explore the area and there are some great trails very close by. Thanks for the great stay!
