A real gem! Loved it! We stayed in 1303. Will be back for sure. Some renovations are close to be needed. There are visible scratches nd stains on the walls and doors and windows are not closing properly. The floor creaks pretty bad. Even so the vintage and classy feeling is great there is an obvious need for a refresh.

Very nice period rooms, friendly, clean.... NO dressing gown or slippers in room...?? Wasn't impressed that there was NO acknowledgement of a Birthday Celebration for a repeat client... The Trend Savoyen Hotel on the other hand where I'm a regular Client always acknowledges Birthdays and celebrations....

This hotel was in a great location, transport links in Vienna are amazing and tickets are very good value. All staff are very friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out was quick and hassle free.

Great hotel in Vienna.

Great staff-not in your face but always there if needed. Very clean, I thought. I liked the charm and character of the older parts of the hotel. I didn’t eat breakfast there or any meals, but did have a drink in the bar and that was pleasant with attentive service. This hotel is very close to transportation, local bars, shops and a couple of good restaurants- the Korean place (more or less next door) was great as was a pizza place round the corner. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back here, too. I really liked it.

Quiet Location, Comfortable Room

Our room was quite spacious with a small terrace, a nice view and a very comfortable bed. The neighborhood is a little upscale and quiet in the evening after Schönbrunn Palace closes for the day. We opted for the buffet breakfast one day during our 5 night stay and were very pleased. There are many bakeries and shops nearby for a much more affordable breakfast, however. The hotel is a bit far from the central district if you plan to walk, but there is a train line across the street that gets you to all the main attractions relatively quickly. Be aware that shops and pharmacies are closed on the weekends, and you will be met with a little indignation from hotel staff if you inquire as to what’s open LOL! Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

Quick trip to Vienna

Very pretty and nice big hotel. Rooms comfortable. Close to public transport, easy train ride into the old city area. Right next to the beautiful Schonbrunner palace and gardens. We did not eat at the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe’s around. There are about 3 parking structures nearby, one right before the hotel. The negative is that the door had to be pushed hard to make sure it clicked closed. The walls were thin so the guest noises from the hall came through loud and clear, which was annoying whenever a loud bunch of people would walk by the room
