Stunning, Classic Renovated Greek Revival - few mins Walk to Main St & VH Ferry

Beautifully renovated Greek Revival home on the quiet end of the historic William Street District with modern addition and amenities including central air conditioning. A perfect blend of old and new to create a casual elegance throughout the home. The original home was built in 1837 and retains many original architectural details. A newer kitchen addition is very large with room for lots of friends and family. All furniture, rugs, bedding and towels are new. Newly painted and decorated in a beachy elegant Vineyard vibe including original paintings by the owner.

A short 8 minute walk to the VH ferry and a 5 minute walk to all Main Street has to offer including great shops, movie theater, restaurants, supermarket and The Black Dog for dining or delicious baked goods to go. A 10 minute walk to the waters edge for sitting at the beach and watching the harbor activity. Front and back stairs to the second floor. Fabulous spacious eat in kitchen with farm table and soapstone and wood counters. Stylish on trend dining room, living room with fireplace, and parlor that doubles as a private bedroom with separate closet and dresser on the first floor. Second floor offers two fabulous master suites with vaulted ceilings and a third bedroom with twin XL beds. Four smart TV's for movie nights in or a rainy day. The outside bluestone patio renovation will be ready to enjoy early spring 2021, complete with stone wall, L shaped sectional couch and and a propane fire table for evening ambiance. A large new teak dining table and chairs seats eight and is positioned under the flowering trumpet vine pergola as well as a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Private outdoor shower for an easy rinse after the beach. Unusually large private grass yard for an in town location.

First Floor:
Kitchen = fully equipped with double oven, stove, microwave, toaster, toaster/convection oven, Coffee maker, Kuerig machine, blender, farmhouse pine table for 8, island seating for 4, TV, Lobster pot and all the other cooking and dining essentials you would expect.
Dining Room = formal dining for 6 around a glass table with wicker parsons chairs
Living Room = seating for 8 around the original fireplace, an antique game table for 4 with lots of games and puzzles in the cabinet.
Parlor/Bedroom 4 = 1 Queen sleeper sofa, closet + TV
Pantry = lots of storage and washer and dryer
Bathroom = 1/2 bath

Second Floor:
Bedroom 1 = 1 King + TV + ensuite bath with deep soaking tub/shower and separate in room sink/vanity + very large closet.
Bedroom 2 = 2 Twin XL's + walk in closet w built in shelving
Bedroom 3 = 1 King and 1 Queen with very large closet + TV
Full bath = off hallway with deep soaking tub/shower

Beautiful property that felt like a home away from home. Marc could not have been more helpful and responsive with guidance and suggestions when necessary. We were two families who really enjoyed our stay here and the house wa so well equipped, we cooked lobsters and enjoyed the entire experience.

Amazing weekend stay

This property is picture perfect
actually it’s better than the pictures. We stayed for a girlfriends weekend and the house easily slept 9 of us. The best part we think were the connecting bedrooms upstairs. We each had a separate space to go, yet felt like we were still with each other the whole time! It was the perfect distance to walk to grab a coffee or do some shopping, and only a few minutes from the ferry. Marc was in communication with me well before the stay, and provided clear instructions on the check-in and check out processes. We enjoyed our stay so much, I would highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come again in the future!

Perfect home away from home!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to have as a homebase while I was in town for a wedding! My friends and I loved using the outdoor space and being so close to town. I look forward to coming back for a future vacation. I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful Weekend in Vineyard Haven!

Marc's home exceeded our expectations in every way - the property and home are absolutely gorgeous and the location is excellent (a two minute walk into town and short drive to Oak Bluffs). Charming house, amazing yard!

We had a lovely time. We walked to Mocha Mott's every morning to grab breakfast. For lunch/dinners, Cronig's (supermarket) is a short drive down the road. When the kids weren't catching crabs at Owen Park (also walkable), they were running around the gorgeous fenced-in yard.

Awesome Experience

We truly had a great experience visiting Martha's Vineyard for the first time. The home was located near everything which made it easy to get around without driving or walking far. Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The location can’t be beat! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, the ferry, and the bus terminal. Incredible home!

We have been renting on Martha’s Vineyard for decades, as I have lots of family that live on the island. This is one of the nicest VRBO‘s we’ve ever rented. Mom and Daughter get away

This house was exactly as described online and that was amazing to find. The home was in a great location. Plenty of room outside, the firepit area was super relaxing. The inside had tons of space, so well stocked in the kitchen, towels, pillows all of it. There were tons of games for all ages! We would certainly visit this home again! The owners were great with answering questions.

Perfect Home and Location

My husband, myself and 6 friends stayed at this beautiful home while in town for a wedding. Being the one in charge of securing the accommodations is always a challenging task. I'm happy to say this house exceeded our expectations. The house itself had so much to offer....awesome fireplace in living room, beautiful yard with gas firepit surrounded by comfy couches, short walk to downtown. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our only disappointment was that with all the wedding festivities there was not enough time to just hang around and enjoy all the house had to offer. Also, Marc was a very gracious host. I highly recommend this house and hope to return someday.

Gorgeous and spacious house

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, expansive home with designer touches everywhere. Kitchen, bedrooms, living/dining areas were spacious and perfect for our family reunion. We loved just walking to the cute/cozy shopping dining area as well as having some takeout meals in the home. The outdoor seating was perfect for us to enjoy the nice weather we were lucky to have. The hosts were wonderful and we were lucky to have found this historic but lovingly remodeled home for our family reunion. Great home, beautiful amenities, nice location.

Perfect long weekend

We rented this house to put up extended friends and family for a milestone birthday. Property was perfect - room set up ideal, clean and beautifully decorated (all our friends commented). Everyone appreciated the proximity to town, ability to walk in for morning coffee, etc. Marc was a great host.

The house was nicely located in vineyard haven. It was close to grocery store and local shops. The yard was impeccable and so was the interior of the house. Kitchen has everything needed for a long stay. Owner was easy to reach. IEverything else was perfect.

STUNNING HOUSE IN VINEYARD HAVEN

We had a spectacular 4th of July weekend staying in Marc and Mimi's house. The house has a historic feel but is updated with all high end amenities and touches. (Mimi is clearly a very talented artist and decorator as the home is filled with her personal touches and it 100% embodies "island elegant" at every turn.) So many nice touches included to make a stay easy and fun...gorgeous outdoor living space, beach towels, lots of kitchenware, comfortable beds, lovely linens and towels.... The location of the home is walking distance to Vineyard Haven with convenient off street parking. Vineyard Haven is only 10 minutes from Oak Bluffs and 20 minutes from Edgartown. We enjoyed all three towns during our stay and even took a drive out to the Aquinnah Lighthouse. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND
