If your family loves outdoor living and has been dreaming of escaping to Sandbridge Beach, A Mermaid's Kiss is the perfect semi-oceanfront vacation destination for you!
With six bedrooms, a cozy great room, a dining area for ten, additional bar seating for four, a hot tub, and a private swimming pool, you'll feel like you're staying in your own resort. Plus, when you're ready to hit the beach it is directly across the street.
On the main floor, step into the great room with beamed vaulted ceilings, painted wood-paneled walls, comfortable leather furniture, plenty of beachy decor, and a flat-screen TV. You'll feel right at home in the kitchen stocked with basic appliances and cooking utensils. Five bedrooms encompass the main level each with shared full bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms offer king-sized beds and flatscreen TVs and a child-friendly Full/ Full Bunk Room. The first-floor bedroom (outside access only) features 2 twin beds and bathroom access.
After a day at the beach, come back and relax, recharge, and refresh in the shimmering pool surrounded by loungers, and Adirondack chairs, or take a quick dip in the jetted hot tub. A gas grill is provided for BBQs.

Don’t Kiss This Mermaid

The location is GREAT, but the property is pretty bad. The bathrooms are TINY! You can touch the sink tub and toilet at the same time. Bathing small kids would be awful! Our Tall people found the bathrooms a challenge, as did the grandparents. There were no safety bars. The doors were really cheap and damaged on the inside. There were plenty of linens. This was good as we needed to immediately change the linens in the twin room. The comforters on the bed had black balls of fuzz all over them. It was like they got washed with a new black towel. But someone MADE the beds like that. Also, that bunk room is not great. It likely was designed as a sitting room, but had beds thrown in there for profit. You can’t open the closet doors bc the bunks are too big. You also have to walk through there or go around through the kitchen (which is VERY WELL stocked) to access the other hall. The pool area is nice for sure. The hot tub was broken! We called the agency and a technician was sent right out. Unfortunately, the owner was so slow to approve the repairs that it didn’t get fixed until AFTER our stay. The deck needs a good cleaning to get rid of mildew. The extra outside room reaks of mildew. We didn’t need it thankfully. I honestly think the biggest issue is likely the owner. They should take this property off the listings and renovate it. The rental agency, which was responsive, should work with the owner to help them know how to make their property nice for renters.

Great vacation, great house

House was very clean and location relevant to the ocean was great. Super short walk. Pool was big and clean. Only issues found: 1. Constant army of ants under carport and some did make their way to pool area. I suggest doing something to help control the issue. None made their way into the house. 2. The kitchen faucet became loose, seems like it needs to be tightened from underneath. We did not have the proper tools to fix ourselves. Overall very happy with our stay!

Amazing beach getaway

Five of us were celebrating a bachelorette party here. We planned it as a surprise and decorated while the bride-to-be was asleep. It was the perfect size for all of us, the pool and hot tub were amazing, and just steps from the beach and a few restaurants. We had a great time, highly recommend staying here
