Very Important: Please ensure you ask about bringing your four-legged family member, we require a pet fee of $100. We also require all pets to receive their flea and tick medication regularly and crates are preferred when you are out and about. Please keep heavily shedding pups off the furniture. All of these requests really help the owners feel more comfortable opening their homes to your furry loved ones as well as aiding in housekeeping practices. The backyard is not fully enclosed for animals to be let loose off leash. Please be respectful of the shared space in the back and keep pets on a leash at all times.

This South End Vibe District beach bungalow is located on 18th Street in what has been coined by locals as the arts and culture district. Located just three walking blocks from the beach and boardwalk, this house is in the heart of all the activity Virginia Beach has to offer. The home is central to stores, restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, farmers markets, gyms and is also walking distance to the Convention Center and the new Sports Center.

This first floor, fully furnished cottage features two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The house sleeps four guests comfortably (no more than four people allowed at any given time according to city mandates) in a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twin sized beds. The two bedrooms share a hallway bathroom equipped with a shower/bathtub combination. Complimentary shampoos and shower essentials are provided, along with a hair dryer for your convenience.

When you enter the home, you will walk into the cozy living room, furnished with a comfortable couch situated in front of a large television for your entertainment. The smart TV is also equipped with cable. There is Free WIFI throughout the cottage to keep you connected.

The kitchen overlooks the living area, perfect for cooking and catching up with one another. There is a kitchen bar area with four stools for seated dining. The kitchen area conveniently features the washer and dryer, a cooktop, toaster oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. It also comes fully-equipped with cookware, china and glassware for four people.

There is a large shaded back deck with a picnic table which allows for additional dining for your group of four to enjoy. This is a shared space with the upstairs unit, 508B. The property has private parking for two vehicles directly out front.

We provide bed linens, four towel sets and a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Guests are responsible for replenishing their supplies as needed.

About The Area
To make your taste buds sing, stop by one of the many ViBe Neighborhood restaurants on our block. Java Surf, Commune, Stockpot, Crocs, Prosperity Kitchen, Baby Izakaya, Beach Bully BBQ, Barrel 17, Hearth and Esoteric are some favorites. Housed in a 1920s-era building on the Virginia Beach Historical Registry, Esoteric is serving up European-influenced fare using local ingredients, many of them sourced from its on-site garden, which it shares with Commune and Roost Flowers. The outdoor seating is draped in string lights and overlooks the garden. How's that for knowing where your food came from?

While you can find all manners of artwork within the quaint shops and 7 different coffeehouses that comprise the area, the ViBe District is a work of art in and of itself. Look around and enjoy the bright murals throughout the neighborhood, most of which were done by local artists, located on most of the local businesses in the area. Take the ViBe Mural Walking Tour, an easy, one-mile walking tour, to capture shots for an unbeatable photo op.

In addition to great food and works of art, this neighborhood is also one of our favorite spots for shopping that is uniquely Virginia Beach. For custom, hand-painted signs and pin-striping, check out Igor's Custom, a local favorite, whose work is found all around town. His designs are done the old-school way, so you won't find any computers in his studio. Located next door to Igor's, in a strip of quaint studios and coffee shops known as The Alley, North End Bag Company features handmade leather bags, using a variety of multi-era vintage sewing machines. From when the design is sketched to when the sewing machine whirs to a stop, no detail is overlooked in building these timeless and sturdy bags.

Local artists, crafters, leather smiths, sign painters, coffee masters, culinary arts, distilled spirits, surf and skate culture, fashion and accessories, beauty and lifestyle brands, health and fitness, farmer's markets, live music, performing arts and more… Find it all in our neighborhood—The ViBe Creative District nestled within just three walking blocks from the oceanfront.

Some Important Points:

If you have booked a stay longer than 2 weeks, you will be responsible for providing your own bed sheets and bath towels as our linen rental company cannot cover this duration of time. For all short term rentals, we will provide your bed sheets and bath towels.

Please pay the pet fee if you are traveling with your four-legged family members. The fee is $100.

Beach equipment and bikes are not included but we do offer concierge rentals. These rentals will be delivered to the house and picked up upon departure. We also offer baby equipment rentals if you don't want to haul the crib/pack n play, stroller, etc.

NO early check-in or late check-out during peak summer season (May through September)
