Well-equipped cottage in Torset outside Vittaryd with fantastic panoramic views of Lake Vidöstern. Down by the beach which is 200 m from the cottage you have access to a rowing boat and here are nice swimming opportunities at the sandy beach.



The house is very well equipped to a high standard. The kitchen has all the facilities you want and a stove with induction hob. The cottage is tastefully decorated and very spacious. Electricity, WiFi, Smart TV, boat and berth included. You have a large terrace of 50 m2 where you can sit and enjoy the lake view and the tranquillity. Sun loungers are available. On the large plot with many nice big oaks you can stroll around and enjoy the garden. The house is located on a hill and very close to nature. Lake Vidöstern offers both swimming and fishing opportunities. There is plenty of pikeperch, pike and perch here.



Things to see and do in Vittaryd and the surrounding area

At the Sundet summer home just across the lake, waffles are served every Wednesday night. Also visit Sussies Cafe in Flattinge and Dannäs waffle café as well as the local history park by Sundet. Here by Sundet there is also a boat club and a nice municipal swimming area. Dörarp has a nice old church if you are interested. The nearest restaurant is Toftaholms Herrgård if you want to treat yourself to something extra.



If you are interested in riding, there is a riding school on Bolmsö. From Norra Bolmsö you can take the cable car over to Sunnaryd. A nice excursion destination is to then drive south and visit Tiraholms Fisk which is located on Bolmen's east side in Halland. Here is a smokehouse and fish restaurant. The cities of Ljungby and Värnamo are not far from your cottage. There are many museums here, such as. Sago and Sven Ljungberg Museum. Also visit the Mini World. Gamla Torg is worth a visit with a ceramic shop and Gästgivaregården. There are several moose parks, Elinge Moose Park, Laganland, and Smålandet. In Lagan is Slussen, which is a large second-hand shop and café. There is also a grocery store, Peter Sport which sells fishing licenses and fishing equipment and Laganland with a souvenir shop, golf course and Cliff Burton museum.



If you are interested in renting more boats and engines, the owner can help you with a contact nearby. You also have the opportunity to bring your own boat.
