The Crossing at 202- Downtown Waco/ Steps to Silos

On the second floor of the historic Behrens Warehouse, "The Crossing at 202" is a vintage appointed 1 bedroom/ 1 bath industrial loft in the heart of the Silo District of downtown Waco. It easily sleeps 4 with a king size bed in the bedroom and a queen size Murphy Bed in the Family Room. Leisurely walk to Magnolia Market (2 blocks) or Spice Village (1 block), across the street from the Dr Pepper Museum, upstairs from the popular Fabled Bookshop and Cafe.

Extremely well appointed, “The Crossing at 202” features a full-size replica of a railroad crossing displayed on the wall as well as a railroad track corner ornament. Get a taste of the history of Dr. Pepper with the “Dr Pepper wall”. Enjoy the beautiful Waco weather with a balcony and sliding door.

The family room features a 65- inch smart TV. The loft is equipped with high- speed internet access with free Wi-Fi throughout. Device charging stations are found bedside in the bedroom, luggage racks in the closet and a hair-dryers in
the bathroom. Since this is a downtown location and so close to the Magnolia Silos, appropriately for “The Crossing”, occasionally you will hear the train two blocks away as it passes right by the Silos as well as other noises associated with a downtown area. Less than a mile from Baylor University and two blocks from the McLane Stadium shuttle pick up. Free on-site street parking is available at the building (first come, first serve)

A ramp at the back of the building makes for easy access and there are two elevators inside the building.

For Coffee - we have both a plain coffee maker, as well as a Keurig for which we provide some pods, creamers and sweetener.

Fable Bookshop located next door to The Behrens Lofts serving great pastries and coffee.

This is a downtown location. Occasionally you will hear the train two blocks away and other noises associated with a downtown area.

We so enjoyed our stay! We experienced a seamless check in. The location was perfect and walkable to numerous great restaurants, the Sillos and other shops. Darling unit with everything we could possibly need or want. A lot of thought went into making everything clear and convenient in this space. If I could leave 100 star review I would! Sarah was also very kind and so sweet. We loved the coffee bar/book store next door. It created such a vibrant warm community feel on the block.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Loved your loft and our days in Waco! Great location downtown, walking distance to everything! Our favorites were Bertie’s on the Rooftop at Hotel 1948, Red Herring’s, The Silos (of course!), Pivovars beer spa (do it!) and Cameron Park and the Saturday Farmers Market.
