QUIET COMFORT! PL-STVR-2024-000967

New paint, new bathrooms, new floors throughout. Exceptional townhouse condominium in the Colony Villas at Waikoloa Beach Resort, a gated community on the perimeter of the Kings golf course in the sunny crescent of the Big Island with sunshine 350 days a year. Two pools and tennis courts on the property, as well as two golf courses. Shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores are close by--everything you might need you'll be able to find within the resort's many shops and stores or at the nearby Waikoloa Hilton Resort.

Lots of sun. Upstairs and downstairs lanai. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms (renovated 10/22), laundry room, washer/dryer, and full kitchen. High ceilings and island design. Excellent home base for seeing and exploring the island. All carpet and flooring has been replaced in stages since 2018. Entire interior repainted 09/2023. Volcanoe view from upstairs bedroom. Totally quiet. You won't hear a thing.

A-Bay is the nearest beach, located within the resort, a 20 minute walk. Lava Lava is a fantastic open air restaurant right on the beach. Hapuna, Mauna Kea, and Puako beaches are nearby.

Barbecues are located on the property poolside. Excellent grocery store in the resort or nearby in Waikoloa town.

Big Island is full of things to see and do and our condominium is so comfortable to come home to after a day out.

Big Island is rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. From the beaches to the volcanoes, the botanical gardens, and the wonderful farmers' market in Hilo.

Great quiet location, clean and comfortable with everything needed (beach chairs, towels, cooler, well appointed kitchen for cooking and dining, washer/dryer
). We had one operational issue with air conditioner but it was quickly resolved. The owners communicated and responded quickly and were thoughtful and caring in assuring a comfortable stay. Their corner unit felt private and easily accesses the main path to walk the resorts/ocean (Queens market on farther end but accessible for longer walk if desired) We enjoyed the adult pool and spa just a few mins away. Thank you for your hospitality! We would definitely stay again. (5 night stay)

Great condo except for a very minor glitch and one “comfort” concern. The host gave very thorough and complete directions and instructions about the condo. The unit was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were even step stools which my wife, a little “shortish”, used to hop into bed. The minor glitch was lack of shower soap and shampoo, which we picked up the next at the nearby market. The comfort issue involved the AC which is set to go no lower than 76. With the higher humidity the condo felt a little uncomfortable, especially upstairs and at night. Got by with ceiling and portable fans, and maybe it was because we are all from the SF Bay Area which is more temperate and drier?

We recommend this condo. Kitchen well equipped, washer/dryer. Hair dryer in the bathroom. Comfortable beds. We have stayed at this location on other Big Island vacations, first time in a 2b/2b. Would stay again if traveling back to the island. Only complaint, and this is definitely personal preference, is the pillows were too hard for our liking but this is only personal preference. Owner was great with communication. We had a lovely trip with our granddaughter, her first time to Hawaii. Thanks!!

The really nice beaches are several miles away

The property is clean and very roomy. It was well stocked with towels, food storage containers and detergents. We like the beach but found that the really nice beaches are about 10 miles drive north. The Waikaloa area is loaed with condos and time shares but is lacking is restaurants. That was a disappointment.

We thought this was a great location. This area is very beautiful with lots of walking trails. We liked that it was so close to A-bay, Hapuna and Mauna Kei beaches. The condo had lots of beach stuff including boogey boards, umbrella, cooler and chairs so that was very helpful. We liked also being close to island gourmet to pick up groceries and some fast meals. The condo was well equipped for us to do some cooking and was right around the corner from the pool and the BBQs which was very nice. Paul was quick to respond when we contacted him about questions.

Clean, updated 2 bedroom in Waikoloa

A very clean and nicely updated 2 bedroom townhouse in Waikola. Comfortable king bed in the upstairs master bedroom. Very near to one of two pools in the complex. Very quiet. We had a bit of trouble locating the building where the unit was but called the owner and then easily found the unit. The a/c is locked at 76, not really an issue for us as we opened the windows at night for cooler air upstairs.

Everything we may have needed was there for us. Thank you! Condo is beautiful, both bathrooms remodeled with fantastic showers. Thanks for the beach chairs and beach towels.we didn’t need the beach toys, but they would be a very nice addition for a family. We hope to return soon and would happily rent this condo again.
