WELCOME to Our Beautiful Ocean Front Condo at Kanai A Nalu, on the quiet side of Maui. Our ocean front unit, located on the third floor overlooks the grounds Lush Tropical Garden as well as the Crystal Blue Waters of Maalaea Bay. Kanai A Nalu is a beautiful beachfront resort on Sugar Beach in Maui.
Enjoy spectacular unobstructed ocean, mountain, and outer island views from a newly renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo that is just a few steps from Sugar Beach.
One of the few condos in Maalaea with a new mini split unit air conditioner in every room.
You can Whale watch from our Lanai during the winter months when the humpback whales bring their young to the protected waters of Maalaea Bay. Its a sight you will never forget and look forward to seeing for years to come. Another wonderful sight from our lanai is watching the Cattamarans sailing by in the early evenings as the glow of the Maui sunset with its beautiful orange and purple hues cover the sky...as you sit on your Lanai sipping a cool drink and nibbeling on PuPu's (what the natives call snacks) and basking that after glow of it all , that my friend is when you'll know you are vacationing in Paradise!
Miles of white sand that run in either direction. Snorkeling is wonderful too. With yellow and brilliant blue fish swimming along side you in the coral and rockier area of the water to the right once you've stepped onto the sand.
Our guest have access to our outdoor Shower as you come and go to the beach. Our colbolt blue tiled swimming pool is complete with a waterfall and is located next to our new double commercial grade gas BBQ's with wrap around counters.
We also have a dinning area for though who prefer to enjoy their meals outside and it's a fun way to meet your fellow renters as you enjoy the sunset and your meals.
Were a five minute walk to the Maalaea Boat Harbor where you can book many water excursions, Snorkeling trips to Molokai, Sunset Dinner Cruises as well as dine at the Harbor many Fine & Casual Restaurants and Tourist Shops. A few blocks further you'll find the 'Maui Ocean Center' a #1 tourist attraction with a Beautiful Aquarium, Miniture Golf and Bumper Boats. A 15 minute drive to Kihei with many shops, farmers Market, Golf Courses and much more.

Absolutely lovely

Our family had an amazing stay in this property overlooking Maalaea bay. This location was great for us, allowing a much faster drive to and from the airport compared to West Maui. It also was easy to get to both Kihei/Wailea area and also Lahaina each within 20-25min. The unit is very nice, with comfortable furniture, a large TV with streaming capability and a full kitchen stocked with cookware to be able to cook, but since the cookware was pretty worn, we decided to purchase and donate a frying pan. A few isolated parts of the unit were quite dated, including the master shower and the patio door and entry door. The view is gorgeous; we watched the sunrise over Haleakala in the distance, saw turtles eating along our shoreline and by the end of our stay in early January we could see whales blowing and splashing in the distance (binoculars would have been great to have packed). Beach towels were included. There is a beach within easy walking distance, where we noticed families and several snorkelers; but we also speculated that a couple of the tents on this beach may have been actual living quarters and not temporary. Parking was always available. Staying in this property definitely helped make our Maui trip amazing and memorable, and we’d definitely stay again.
