Stunning guest house 5 minutes from Lake Wanaka

Newly built to the highest standard, this is a 60 Sqm self contained, 1 bedroom guest house.
The bedroom can be separated from the lounge or opened up to allow the appreciation of the incredible mountain view whilst having your morning coffee brewed by the supplied Nespresso Machine.
The king bed can be separated into two single beds if you prefer. Bedding is a warm duvet, 400TC cotton sheets and electric blanket.
The bathroom has underfloor heating, a large walk in shower, heated towel rail and drying room for ski gear.
Lake Wanaka is 5 minutes walk away. Cycle 5 minutes and arrive at the famous Sticky Forest Bike tracks. Wanaka township is 5 minutes drive. There are also two mountain bikes (his and hers) available for use.
Access to Peninsular Bay's stunning facilities of a large heated swimming pool in summer, 2 spa pools heated all year round and well equipped gymnasium.

And lastly there is an arrival welcome pack inc. tea and coffee for all guests.

Wanaka Guest House

Place was clean and great location. Options for cooking limited to a microwave, BBQ supplied but doesn't really work in winter. The rest of the guest house well appointed. We left some coats in the cupboard which the owner nicely couriered back to us, at our request, once he was 100% positive that we had paid the courier fee. However, owner was less then friendly when we rang to request this. Accused us of breaking a door, which came of the track the moment we touched it. I refitted the door and neglected to rush straight up to the main house and tell him, to which he thought gave him the entitlement to yell at my wife over the phone. This interaction with him soured what was a great week, in a nice accommodation. Perhaps he needs to learn a little bit about ways to speak to people if he is going to be in the business of hospitality. Otherwise, nice place to stay

Comfortable and Cozy

We had a nice short stay here and felt very comfortable and cozy the whole time whilst also being nice and spacious. It is in a very nice neighbourhood close to some quieter lakeside spots and is nicely tucked away on the property making it nice and private. Having the bikes was a nice option too.

Fabulous Stay

Vow what a beautiful place to stay, Jay the owner has built this house with passion and thinking about every small things which make guest holiday very comfortable. House was very nice and clean. Top notch place will definitely recommend it.

Really nice place!

Beautiful location in a nice neighborhood. Landscape is pretty and the unit is spacious and new! My only ding on the property is that there is no sink in the kitchenette area. I realize that a sink was not advertised in the listing, but that wasn't really something I was looking for in the listing - that's just something that I would expect to be in the unit. However, lack of the sink is not a deal breaker - I definitely recommend this place!

Lovely stay in Wanaka

A friend and I enjoyed our two nights at this spot. It was the perfect place from which to enjoy what Wanaka has to offer. The kitchen supplies were very useful - not having a kitchen sink took a bit of getting used to but we worked it out. Would stay again.

Wow what a location

The perfect stay!

My son and I traveled from Arizona all the way to New Zealand and truly loved staying here! The neighbor was beautiful, the house was clean, fresh, and relaxing, and Jay and Nikki were SUCH excellent hosts! It was almost as if we were staying with old friends or something. Nikki shared some DELICIOUS cheese muffins she had made with us after we arrived a day later than expected, and Jay was so kind to make himself available to drive us across to Rippon Hall one day for a wedding we were attending. His tour-guide vibes going through town did not disappoint! I also really appreciated the welcome binder and travel brochures - SO helpful! Truly loved calling this place "home" while we were on vacation!

Our accommodation is so neat and clean. The location is so handy only few minutes away from the Wanaka establishments. What a superb view around the place we stayed, with a good street.

Beutiful view and a great location

What a lovely, stand alone property at the base of the lot with a private entry from the sidewalk! There is a huge glass entry wall with sliding door that makes for a lovely view of the mountains. The bathroom had a roomy walk-in shower. We would definitely return to this 'Stunning Guest House' in the future. Thanks!

Perfect location in Wanaka

We had a brilliant time. Our host, Jay, took us out in his boat to a unique island with a lake at the top in Lake Wanaka. There were bikes for our use and we were a short walk away from a quiet beach. Jay was very friendly and helpful, the holiday bungalow was very comfortable and private and the area was very quiet and peaceful. Altogether a perfect location.

Wonderful accommodation

This property was extremely well thought out. We could see a lot of care had gone into the planning of the unit. Place has a huge walk in Shower, fantastic size strong water pressure heated floor. Has a Very Comfy Bed, which is so important. Heated bed blanket for cold nights. Jay was lovely to us, he is welcoming , friendly, easy to talk to kind of guy. when we needed guidance on the BBQ Jay was on the scene in a timely manner. Thank you, Jay! Stunning views with our morning coffee and BBQ. Had a top experience. Will be back for sure. Recommend this reliable place. Very pleased.

Fairly new modern accommodation for 2-3. Very comfortable clean and tidy. Good facilities but owners unable to provide more amenities such as sink, or stove, due to regulations. More suitable for those eating out most of the time.
