The staff was friendly and helpful. I was allowed to check in a few hours early and they held my luggage for me for a few hours after I checked out so I didn’t have to carry it around.

It is not close to a transit stop so it was costly for Ubers, Taxis etc. If yuo are staying for just a day it is not bad, but I stayed 4 nights and spent way tooooo much money on getting to and from the hotel. I did use the Metro as well.

Thanks for your feedback. We are 7 mins walk from Navy Yard metro. We do have a complimentary shuttle service operating within city limits Mon-Sat., hope you will use it for your convenience on your next visit.

The hotel is within one mile of the capital, an easy 20 walk. The hotel also happens to be across the street from a very large urban redevelopment project with lots of high end apartments, shopping and restaurants. Nationals ballpark is an easy 6 block walk. Entire area is safe to wonder about after dark. Hotel building itself may not look like much from outside, but it is nice inside and a good value for the price. I stayed six nights for a convention downtown and would stay again.

I will never stay at this place again. I had been coming here for years, and nothing has changed. The same bed, that makes you feel like you're sleeping in a pile of sand... The same crappy customer service, who treat their guests like a bother. Yes, the place has a nice pool... The pool does not make it worth having a horrible bed to sleep in and a dirty Hotel. I will never go back.

Luxurious beds, rain shower, top-notch view were among the reasons I would recommend Capitol Skyline. This very clean hotel also had original artwork in all the rooms. It was located near nice restaurants on the water and also near the Nationals Park.
