My new go-to in DC
Comfortable room, within reasonable walking distance of a lot of the popular sights. I liked that there was a lounge with comfortable seating, and coffee and tea available 24 hours. The real stars were the staff. It's been decades since my last DC visit, so I had a lot of questions. Oscar and Tsedenia at the front desk patiently answered them all, and offered suggestions for making my stay more pleasant. (Thank you!) All of the staff seemed very efficient, and welcoming to guests. It was nice to be able to relax in the lounge with a cup of tea when I arrived before check-in time.

The location is amazing. Super close to the White house and the metro station (it's literally next door to the hotel). You can take the blue line, straight to the Ronald Regan Airport. The staff was super nice, explained few things and were more than happy to help with anything I needed. They have 24/7 espresso machine as well as purified water. Cleanliness and property conditions I gave it a 4, because air vents were quite dusty and the ceiling in the bathroom had a small opening, which was kind of creepy. If you're a light sleeper, you might have an issue with the noise, as I heard the sirens at least 3 times through out the night. But I would stay here again for the value to price ratio.

Washington in January
Apart from one night,I enjoyed everything about my stay,staff are helpful, friendly, nice to have a lounge to relax after a busy day,central for a number of attractions,sites, museums, just a shame the weather closes everything ( group of young adults running up and down corridors, talking, shouting till 4 am,being on the 9 th maybe didn't help)I enjoy walking around Washington.
