This condo was perfect for what we needed for a long weekend in DC. Everything was very clean and tidy which is a must when staying away from home. The host was very kind and quick to respond to any questions. The check in/check out process was very easily outlined. No complicated clean up requests just leave the key and go! That makes it simple. Quick walk to Whole Foods and the Metro made this the perfect location for our getaway.
To start when we arrived at the property the instructions given to me about the âkey fobâ and location was completely in accurate. I was told the key fob would be located underneath a fake rock by some bushes on the other side of the building. After searching for 30-45 minutes there was no sign of âkey fobâ. I reached out to the host and she said one of her cleaners had the key and he would bring it to us. He brought us the key fob and left. In the email that was sent it said the parking garage was parallel to where the key fob was supposed to be however there are two parking garages and only one is for the building we stayed in. No clear instructions were given as to which garage was correct. After being stuck in the wrong parking garage for 30 minutes we had to figure out the correct one and how to actually enter the garage. When we finally entered the building the lobby was beautiful and when we went up the elevator and made it to the floor of the room location the smell was completely awful smelling like urine. The room looked like the pictures and the bed was comfortable but other than that Iâd never stay here again. The day of my departure I took a picture of the keys hanging on the wall and sent them to the host and she was upset with me because she was blaming me for losing the parking pass. I told her that there was no parking pass the whole time I was there. Her cleaning crew came in after I was gone and found the parking pass and she then apologized. Never again!!!
Apartment is very secure feeling. Very clean and is in great location to visit all the cites in the city. Was very happy with the commucation. Loved the veiw and quiteness of the balcony.
We had a lovely staycation here at Lily's place. It was a bonus to have free parking! I love the area around here as It was conveniently located to restaurants, Whole Foods, a shopping mall, and a 5-min drive to either DC or the Reagan airport.
Her home itself was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed from coffee to free drinks. And donât get me started on the king bed, and the light blocking curtains because I slept like a baby. I had a great time working from home since it has a desk and a chair, gym if I wanna work out or even rooftop pool for a break. As a frequent DC traveler, I definitely have her home in my list of places to stay in DC.
