Gorgeous renovation 2BR/2BA with AC/TV/Internet

Summary:

Enjoy DC with all the most luxurious amenities you deserve! We spared no expense renovating our basement to make it as comfortable as possible for you. Filled with light, from both the front and the side windows, this apartment has new floors, a great full-size kitchen, and two full bathrooms, each beautifully appointed with high-end finishes. There is a large flat screen TV that can be swiveled to watch while you cook, and also a great front reading area that can double as a home office too! Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay (2 dogs max, can not be left alone overnight)



The Space:

The space is a lower level of a 1905 Victorian row house. The house is an end-unit, so it has a ton of light from the side as well as the front, which faces south. The floors have been dug out to create comfortable ceiling height, and the entire space has been created from scratch to make a layout that offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a comfortable living/dining/kitchen space too.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the space directly through just one door. The door has an electronic lock that has a unique expiring code that is only valid for each guest's visit.



The Neighborhood:

You'll love this fantastic central location. Half a block away is the "secret" Crispus Attucks Park, a green and landscaped oasis that's perfect for an afternoon picnic or walking your dog. Walk to U-Street Metro, and enjoy a James Beard-award-winning restaurant, a fantastic latin restaurant, neighborhood bar, handmade pizza and great Thai/sushi in the same area (Red Hen, El Camino, Boundary Stone, and Aroi). There is also a lovely wine bar, a coffee/pastry shop and well-stocked liquor store at the same location (Etabli, Sylvan, and Bloomingdale Liquors). You're also not far from the Metropolitan Branch Trail, which features lovely bike riding trails and also lots of great beer gardens and breweries along the way! There is even a pickleball center and rollerskating rink, plus an Alamo Drafthouse cinema just a few minutes away by car. Whole Foods market is about 12 minutes walk from the house too!



Getting Around:

Metro is only a 12 minute walk away, and there are buses along Rhode Island Ave all day, every day that go downtown too. Uber and Lyft is a favorite way to go as well, and there are lots of bike and scooter rental options (Lyft, Uber) that can be found within a block or two at any time.
