The hotel is generally OK. The elevators can get a bit congested, but nothing horrible. My biggest complaint was awaking to loud hammering and drilling inside of the hotel at 5:15 am on the last morning of my stay. When I mentioned this to the rep when checking out, he really didn’t care. How can any hotel, let alone a JW, start doing this type of work at 5:15 am?? Totally unacceptable.

Liked the convenience of the location and the friendliness and helpfulness of the “ground staff”. Didn’t like length of waiting time for elevators, no tissues in the bathroom, takes a “long time” for sink water to get hot, the bottom of the bathroom door is “mushrooming” (from a past flooding incident?), there was a screw on the floor and a mold spot in the upper door frame into the shower… also:$72 for overnight valet parking?

Great location, some staff better than others.

Wonderful location, able to walk to all DC museums and monuments. Valet parking and bellhop’s were amazing. Honestly the best part of our stay. No safe in room. Used the lockbox at desk. Was then questioned for ID that was locked in the box. Good luck. Bar and restaurant were only fair. We left a day early.
