Very small room. Outdated facilities. One of the elevators was not operational. Room did not even have a full-sized ironing board. Bed was terrible- must be a really old bed. Pillows were flat.
My husband and I were going to a concert at the Warner Theatre. The Architect was walkable to and from the show; the area was safe. We were able to walk to The Hamilton for dinner before the show, and we stopped for drinks at a different bar on the way back to the hotel.
The hotel is older, but it is charming. The room was perfect for us for the night. We were on the 9th floor, and I was pleased with the water pressure in the shower--you never know when you are in an older building on the top floor. The bed was fine.
The people at the desk were friendly and helpful. We go to DC a few times a year for concerts, and we would definitely stay here on a return trip.
Great little find that was perfect for my conference. Staff was extremely friendly and quick to support. Rooms were small but comfortable and met all of my needs. Excellent location within walking distance of the Convention Center and National Mall. Great price point too!

The stay was okay. My room was right in front of the elevator so I could hear everyone who went up to the floor. I could also hear all the possible sounds from the rooms in the corridor.
The hotel is quite run down, sadly. It would be really cool if it were cleaned up because it is a retro style.
I had everything I needed while in the room though, nothing broken or especially dirty inside. Just run down, like the other parts of the premises.
The location is great - about 10 minutes to the main attractions in the city.
