We love staying at a quality family-owned motel like this! Incredible communication from owner from booking to check-in and we're sure they would have been easily reachable if we had any issues (we had zero issues). Room and linens were spotless and the smart tv was an unexpected boon for folks like us traveling with kiddos. WiFi was fast, and more importantly, secured--something we rarely find at big chain hotels. Incredible value for folks visiting Badlands National Park who aren't camping or prefer to avoid Wall or Rapid City. We're glad to have found it!

It doesn't look like much on the outside but the room was very nice. The owner called earlier in the day of check in to acquaint me with their procedures and to sure I knew the town was small with limited options, so that I could make plans for dinner and breakfast the next day. Bed was very comfortable.

NETFLIX & PET FRIENDLY!!
I was moving from VA to WA, and this place was exactly what I needed. Jayne was wonderful! The room was updated, clean, and the location was amazing. Right off the interstate in the small town of Wasta. It was quiet, which allowed for a great nights sleep which I needed while traveling cross country. THE PILLOWS AND NETFLIX THOUGH! If you’ve traveled, you know that most pillows suck… they’re crinkly sounding and go flat as soon as you put your head on them. They have real pillows. The good ones. The sheets were cotton, real cotton. So soft and comfy. And the tv service. It was the first time in all my travels that I had an option to log into my own Netflix (it’s a small but nice luxury.. makes it more homey) with a program that automatically logs me out at check out. If you’re traveling, and have pets this place is perfect!

Mattress could have been better
And had a memory foam mattress which although it was comfortable to sleep on it was difficult to roll out of bed because you just sunk in when you turned on your side and it was hard for someone older like me to get out of bed

Jayne was wonderful with setting up a late check in and letting us know what would be available in the town. It made arrival stress free and we were able to be prepared picking up food on the way. Highly recommend and would stay here again next time I come through. Jayne is an asset to the company!

Unusal set up, but good for overnight stop. Not sure I would return or recommend. Owners did nice renovation job, with more attention to detail (i e. replace bath tub with shower, rewire to better accommodate appliance/ tv, higher quality mattress, place to hang coats) could be a gem.
