Baymont stay
The employees were friendly, the room seemed clean but had an odd smell, pillow were too squishy, some feathers poked through the pillow cases and pinched. The bathroom door squeaked loudly when opening and closing and the door was too close to the toilet and vanity, breakfast was good! Coffee was great! We could hear loud traffic all night long from outside of our room apparently a highway is very close by.
very comfortable bed, very soft towels (equal to or better than very expensive hotels, I was surprised), nice staff. It can't really be a 5 because it's not that type of accommodation. 2 levels with no elevator so that might be an issue with some.
Omg where to start!! Let’s start with when I stayed here last year. Don’t take your dogs here!!! This is a pet friendly hotel but last year the manager ( a foreigner) told us he doesn’t like dogs. Our dog chewed a bone on the bed and made left some slobber on the sheets so I asked for knew. Instead of just giving me the blanked so I could change it be made us leave so he could. This year I had a back massager plugged into an outlet next to bed and it started a fire while we were done with dog in the room. Had to wash all our things and throw lots of stuff away. The dog was found hiding in the bathtub covered in soot. Then we try to get quarters from management and he tells us how insurance won’t cover the damage when insurance couldn’t have been there and determined that in just a few hours. Fire we deemed accidental by the fire department. My wife had to leave with the dog a few days before check out cause they told us we had to take the dog with us everywhere we went. Even after I paid a 25 dollar a night pet fee. We called the 1-800 number for help with the situation and were hung up on by another foreigner. Never again!!!!! They couldn’t be less customer friendly!!!
The neighborhood is a very rough neighborhood for starters. The indoor pool was so cold that you couldnt enjoy the pool the was closed early without any explanation as to why and the manager was extremely rude will never atay at this establishment again
I found this last minute, for one to charge $150.00 for incident fee is outrageous. Your room is only 80.00. When I went tot he room the keys didn’t work. Got that situated and then sat down for a few in the chair. About 45 mins later I went to lay down. I threw the covers back and there was 4-5 bed bugs. I got my stuff and went downstairs the front desk guy wasn’t there. I waited and then I lefts they are refusing a refund
There is a car wash behind the property that is open until late at night. Sketchy side of town. Decent enough for the value.

We didn’t end up staying. For weather reasons we had to cancel. When I called and asked what the total was for canceling late, I was told $87. I was charged the entire amount. Honesty would have been nice.
