We loved our stay! The interior of this property was so quaint and beautiful. We loved both of our meals at the restaurant. Gorgeous view of the water. This hotel was a perfect stop on our Ring of Kerry tour. Thank you!

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. However you could tell it had recently reopened and there were a few teething issues - Although the staff were very friendly service could feel awkward and clunky at times. when breakfast arrived the food and coffee were stone cold. The facilities could do with some improvement- On one evening we went to play pool in the lounge and the table had a tear in it and every cue was broken. For such a large hotel there could be a bit more going on for example an onsite spa. Overall though we did enjoy our stay and the views are spectacular.

Lovely room but...

Room was lovely. Very disappointed with breakfast. Hot breakfast served on a cold plate, and items cooked some time before., so not fresh. Served to order but not cooked to order unfortunately. Also, service wss very slow. We were 30 mins waiting for our cooked breakfast.

Nice place

The hotel was a modest 3 star . The location is great but the building is tired and needs updating. Breakfast was good. I just wouldn’t claim that it was a 4 star hotel, in its heyday, maybe.

Staff very friendly. Hotel itself was a bit dated but well kept. Perfect for longer stay as the hotel had many spaces to lounge and relax while overlooking the sea.

We chose to stay at Butlers Arms because it was the closest hotel to Portmagee Skellig Island boat trips. We were delighted to discover that the hotel is in the charming seaside town of Waterville and directly on the Ring of Kerry. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and our room was very large and looked out to the rock beach. They have a pub, bar, and restaurant. The parking was a little difficult to find (it’s an interior courtyard area of the hotel). We had a great stay!
