Issues with bathroom

Great service but with some issues with the hotel room bathroom. Loose tiles and shower not secured to wall in bathroom.

The hotel was nice but I honestly struggled to get a smile or any pleasantries out of the staff, I felt very uncomfortable each time I encountered a staff member. I also found it hard to sleep, the pillows in the room are too soft and very uncomfortable.

Front of house and reception area really clean and fresh. Staff really friendly and professional. Rooms however, could do with the same refurbishment as the front of house, dated in style and wallpaper peeling from the wall, but very clean and comfortable beds. Ideal location for Harry Potter Studio Tours, central London 45 minute drive.

Terrible experience at the Hilton

It was quite disappointing given the status of being a Hilton hotel reason being 1) We being vegan and at breakfast the eggs were next to the plant based sausages and pieces of eggs were found on the vegan sausages 2) The sourdough bread was finished by 8:45 am arrival for breakfast and waa none left for replacement 3) The rooms allocated were right next to the doors for the interleading passages and made banging noses throughout the night when guests went through them.

Clean standard rooms. Nothing special.

2 joining rooms which worked well for us and our teenage boys. Clean bedding and generally clean bathroom - a little mould on the tiles. Dated bathroom tiles but decent shower. Breakfast wasn't included - £15 per person so we went to The Toby Carvery next door for half the price. Did not get spoken to by staff other than check in and check out.

Mid range hotel good for a few nights

We’ve been coming here for years, always after funerals for the wake. It’s an old hotel that has been upgraded periodically over years and under different brands. It’s okay.

The hotel was tired and in need of repair, missing ceiling tiles, there was blood on the duvet and generally not inviting or particularly plesant. Especially for the price paid , disappointing for a hilton. Breakfast was however lovely
