Mtn. Getaway-with HOT TUB!!
Our Mtn. getaway provides tree top mountain views, a hot tub, plenty of privacy and a convenient location to all the attractions of the Asheville area. We are just 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 8 min. to Weaverville, and 20 min. to Asheville. Golf is just 3 miles away at Reems Creek Country Club, a premier mountain course, and skiing is 30 min. to our North at Wolf Ridge. It is a 3 bedroom 3 bath cabin, with a sofa bed as well. Large living room, and full kitchen.
Our group of friends stayed the weekend and had an awesome time! The cabin accommodated all of us really well, we enjoyed the seclusion and the views from the cabin, the hottub was relaxing - we really had everything we needed. And the drive in to Asheville from where we were was really easy.
A group of us went to Asheville this summer for a Festival and coming back to this cabin was like coming home. It was spacious, the view was beautiful, and it was quiet and nice to get away after being around people all day. 10/10 recommend this location and sending the owners a lot of love in wake of the Hurricane that their property is okay.
We had a large group and this was the perfect house for everyone to hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Well equipped and the host was very easy to get in touch with for any questions. Not too far from downtown Asheville and right by the Blueridge Parkway.
Had all amenities listed and felt like a cabin from a book. Spacious porch with covered hot tub and a beautiful view. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Lots of room for the price, definitely recommend and would consider staying again!
A clean, rustic cabin located near Main St in Weaverville, quiet and peaceful. Owner was very responsive. A couple of comments - the twin beds upstairs are definitely for kids for whom comfort isnât the highest priority. And as a previous poster noted, the lighting on the first floor in the living room was a bit dark. Some upgraded lamps/higher watt bulbs would make a big difference. Lovely stay!!!
Very nice cabin and private. Itâs located in the woods but close to dining and the parkway. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The host was excellent.
Mostly the issue with the house is itâs dark - thereâs not a lot of overhead lightning so you rely on lamps, a few of which were pretty finicky and kept flickering. The kitchen is where itâs really a problem, you depend on under cabinet lights but several are broken and the light under the hood of the stove is also out. Cooking in the dark is difficult! Overall the cabin is great, we loved hanging out on the porch and enjoying the view.
We had a wonderful at the Mtn. Getaway. It was perfect for our large group and dogs. There's a full kitchen with plently of wares which was very helpful as we didnt need to cart everything from home.
The king bed is so comfy. I wanted to stay there the whole time.
There was plenty of parking for our 5 cars.
It was just so nice to escape the city and see the mountains. The view is beautiful. We 100% stay again.
We had the BEST time at this beautiful home. Private, tucked away with amazing mountain views. On the porch, it was coffee in the morning and the hot tub in the evening! Easy drive into Asheville for dinner and shopping, then back to our quiet, secluded getaway to relax. This was a long overdue college friends reunion and we are already planning to come back next year. Just perfect!
We loved staying at this cabin. It was so easy to get to and conveniently located to Asheville. We checked out the local town of Weaverville and loved our time here. Bonus points for being able to bring our dog, who loved sitting on the porch in this beautiful fall weather.
We stayed here for a bachelor party. The view was amazing from the porch. The cabin was stocked with all of the basics, coffee, pots and pans, plates, etc. The cabin was uniquely decorated and felt homely. The drive was a scenic twenty minute drive to downtown Asheville. Overall an extremely pleasant experience which fit our needs for a relaxed bachelor party close enough to all of the activities we wanted to do.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were in town for our daughter's wedding on January 1st. We used this house for our family and another family helping with the wedding. Everything worked out great. We didn't get too much relaxing time due to the busyness of wedding preparations, but we did enjoy having the hot tub.
My best friend is getting married, and this property is perfect for a 8-10 person party. It has a great hot tub and is in the forest, so you get lots of privacy. It was so nice to disconnect from our busy schedules and hang out at this cool cabin! Super spacious and the kitchen has lots of storage. It was about 20-25 minutes from the main parts of Asheville, so you definitely want people who can drive around if you're going into town, but I couldn't imagine a better place to really relax with all of your friends.
