Other Things to Note A Note on Height: To our fellow tall travelersâthere is a beam between the living room and kitchen that is 6â4â. Our "hobbit-sized" half-bath in the loft is perfectly functional for most, but taller folks may find its sloped ceiling requires staying seated for the entire show. Two of our family of 4 are 6â4â+ and love the cabin, but theyâve learned to pay a little extra attention to those 2 spots.
Pet Safety & The Backyard: Please be aware that our private backyard is not fenced and blends into the surrounding forest. For their safety and to respect local wildlife and neighbors, pets must be leashed while outside. We provide a convenient leash stake in the yard for your use.
EV Charging: We provide a dedicated ChargePointÂź Home Flex NACS Level 2 charger. The charger uses the NACS connector; if your vehicle uses a J1772 port, please bring your standard adapter.
Privacy & Neighbors: While the cabin feels secluded, we are part of a friendly mountain community. You may occasionally see a neighbor using a designated path at the edge of the property to access the hillâthey are very respectful of guest privacy, but we like to mention it so you aren't startled.
Why does this listing look new? Trailâs End is an established guest favorite on Mt. Hood, but we are expanding to new platforms following a shift in ownership. Our current host has been co-owner and co-host since Trailâs End initially launched in 2022, so while the listing looks new, the high standards and five-star experience remain the same.
We have a Clackamas County Short Term Rental permit. Registration number STR-952-24.
There was a fire waiting when we arrived. The new hot tub was private and dry! Private home with all we needed for the Christmas weekend. Very easy access to stores, bars and restaurants. Home is clean, comfortable and dog friendly. Bonus: A SWING. Will be returning. Thank you for having us.
Communication was great! Home was clean and close to restaurants and grocery store. Quiet neighborhood tucked back into the woods. Has a camp fire and a few yard games on the property. Would stay here again if back in the area!
