Nice modern hotel. Close to sky stadium, a little walk into the main part of the city 10-20mins. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The main issue with this place is there is no AC in the rooms, if you open the window, you get traffic noise and/or its very windy. There is a noisy fan in the room. I would be happy to stay again but not in the middle of summer.

There was no ventilation in the room and was humid hot and stuffy. Apart from a tiny desk fan there was no air conditioning and it was a hot night. Also construction around the building which was not declared on Expedia.

You get what you pay for. Yes, the room is cheap but it's small. Dated shower, needs some real TLC. But, bed was comfortable with no issues.

Atura Wellington is within short walking distance to Wellington Train Station and Wellington bus stop, as well as many tourist attractions. It is clean, has views of the city or hills from some rooms, includes a restaurant and bar, and has laundry. I especially liked that the bathrooms had separate soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as many hotels I have stayed at are providing 2-in-1 these days. I thought the breakfast was pricey for a continental buffet at $25 without coffee. There is no breakfast menu, only the buffet option.
