At check in wasn’t directed to where the room was even after I asked. Lights were burned out, the hairdryer didn’t work and the shower head is not attached to the wall in the bathtub. The breakfast area was so Cold and the tables were dirty and no staff present! Items were running Low and not one person was checking anything Hotels in completely worn out, rugs are taped Together with duct tape!

The staff tried to assign me a room very close to the railroad. As a frequent guest at this hotel, I asked him to switch to a room away from the railroad. Then, I realized that the room's carpet was dirty with ketchup and had several cookie pieces on it. Since I checked in late at night and was quite tired, I decided to take that room. When I visit Wenatchee again in March, I think I should think about a different lodging option.

We had a nice stay at this Red Lion. It does show its age but it had it where it counted. The hotel is an old school design, and that's a positive. The rooms are large and the bathroom has an outer area that gives it even more separation from the sleeping area. The bathroom has a sink and the area outside the bathroom also has a sink. The thick threshold meets the door with minimal gap to block noise from the hallway. Even business class hotels tend to leave a large gap under the door which lets in noise. The air conditioner blower stays on to provide white noise, not like some newer hotels where the whole AC cycles on and off. The AC control was intuitive. Everything worked well. It was nice having a balcony. For practical amenities, there was a power strip that had plenty of outlets, a large LG TV, a cabinet with a soft close door, which is great because the people in the surrounding rooms need them. The cabinet also holds the mini-fridge to contain its noise. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean.
