On the beautiful island of Cayman Brac enjoy Sonscape's beachfront home with amazing views from 12 picture windows facing the ocean and sunsets from the large back deck. Stroll our lovely beach, snorkel and relax in a hammock under the palm trees. The West End is also where everything is located - the airport, stores, restaurants - you're centrally located but you're still in a very private place at the end of the street.

Sonscape's second story main house offers approximately 2000 square feet of living space that includes a master bedroom with a king bed, a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a 3rd bedroom/office with a day bed and trundle bed which can sleep 2 comfortably, a spacious living/dining area, 2.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and its own washer/dryer. Brilliant ocean views from 12 large windows that span the house from the spacious living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom suite. Also, it features a large wrap-around deck with amazing views of the ocean that can be accessed by doors in the kitchen and the master suite. The ocean is only 100 feet away! Some of the best dive sites are in front of Sonscape.

Cayman Brac is a sister island to the highly developed island of Grand Cayman and has managed to remain unspoiled, making it the perfect antidote to the over-programmed resort vacation. Explore the island’s many hidden treasures while relaxing in your own private retreat. Whether rock-climbing, caving, shelling, diving, fishing, snorkeling, bird watching, hiking, walking the shoreline or simply relaxing is what you desire, you will have a vacation to remember. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the laid-back island pace in your spacious home on the beach.

Listen to the never-ending rhythm of the gentle rolling waves and feel the cooling breezes as you enjoy the warm sunshine and stunning sunsets any time of the year. There is plenty of privacy and you'll enjoy the small yellow songbirds and the island's native brown booby and frigate birds that seem to enjoy the lush, tropical surroundings. The visibility in the water is incredible and the coral reefs endless. The low temperature of the water in mid winter is 78F so you can swim all year long. We call Cayman Brac 'detox from life'. The most difficult part of your vacation will be packing your sandals and leaving this absolute tropical paradise!

The 1-bedroom apartment downstairs is rented separately but there is plenty of parking and space on the beach for everyone!

Beautiful location for snorkelling or just watching the ocean. Lots of space for hanging out . The house worked very well for my family of 6 (3 couples). We rented the bottom unit as well. This was our second visit to Sonscape and will be back!

This was our second trip to this beautiful house. I've already booked to return. I've used VRBO many times in many places but this place tops them all. The price is low considering everything you get. A private beach and beautiful master suite, coffee on the morning deck watching the waves is bliss. I'm a professional artist and appreciated help finding the materials I needed. The flights from Grand Cayman and back were on time . Our rental car was waiting for us upon arrival and returning it was beyond simple . And the support within minutes of the team on island and the host is efficient and generous. Can't wait to return.

This place has the most beautiful unobstructed view from the deck and its own private beach. We lived sitting on the deck and listening to the waves crash on the shore. Plenty of lawn chairs on the beach and a couple of hammocks under the deck. The house was really big and was furnished with everything(pots, pans, utensils) you might need for cooking in the kitchen, games and cards, books for reading, etc. walking distance to a selection of restaurants, coffee shop, and a small grocery market. Its location is near the airport, but airport noise is not a problem at all as there are so few flights in and out of the island. We would highly recommend this place! Host response was very quick to any messages I sent.

Fantastic property in Cayman Brac!

The location of this unique home was one of the key factors in our decision, and the ease of communication with both the owner and the property manager was exceptional. The property has all the quirky, welcoming details one would wish for on this fabulous little island, and we will absolutely be renting again on our next visit.

Our host was quick to respond with information about this very nice house and to all the questions we had.It is “the spot” for Brac sunsets, with an expansive oceanfront yard, including a great fire pit.House managers met us at the airport as we picked up our rental car, led us to the grocery for supplies and then on to the house - all within five minutes of each other. Brac Scuba Shack and at least five restaurants also five minutes away or less on quiet, stress-free roads.Superb views from inside the spacious living room and master bedroom and even better from the decks. Almost at the end of a super quiet road. The only traffic we ever saw was the manager checking to see if all was well.Can’t think of anything bad to say about the place.

Unique, charming and perfect!

We have stayed at several rentals on the island, this is our favorite house,location and owners.Two balconies to gaze at the sea,perfect for eating all meals. Bedroom windows and living room windows all look out to the water. Safe,quiet neighborhood for walks at night to see night herons.Excellent snorkeling right out front.The art is amazing in the house,painted by previous owner.

This is paradise!

The sunsets from the beach soothed our soul. The house and our interactions with the owner and manager exceeded our expectations. We will be back. This portion of our trip was much more fulfilling than Grand Cayman. We will book only here on The Broc next time.

Amazing Location and Wonderful Hostess

This is the perfect location for divers and snorkelers. A beautiful, protected coral reef is right off the beach with lots of sea life. The house faces north into the blue Caribbean Sea. Sunrises and sunsets are otherworldly. The hostess and caretaker are both super-responsive and helpful. I give them and this quiet location the highest possible ratings.

Cayman Brac 2025

Beautiful location on north side of Cayman Brac. Good private spaces inside and out. We appreciated being to able leave windows open, unlike some newer listings which require you to run the A/C - not why I leave Canada in February! We also rented the downstairs unit so we had lots of room for our party of 6 adults. Krista is very responsive to questions.

Quiet and beautiful location

The owner, staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. The island is peaceful and not crowded. The house is located on a quiet street with beautiful ocean views from the deck. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was comfortable. The power on the island went out a few times but it wasn't for long and we had a flashlight and candles. (Thanks again to Wayne for checking on us!) Although it is only a few feet to the ocean, it was very difficult to get into the water from the property due to the many rocks, sea urchins and strong current (even with rubber soled shoes). We found it easier to enter the water at Tibbetts Wreck (about 1/2 mi. down the road), Scott's Dock or further up the island at Sylvia's Cove. The snorkeling was pretty good - there are lots of fish, stingrays, turtles, sea fans, etc. While we were there, the winds were very strong on several of the days so we could not snorkel but we enjoyed exploring the caves, walking on the lighthouse trail, parrot walk, Rebecca's cave and long beach walk, visiting the Columbus Gardens or bicycling. Recommend renting a car or bike. B&S Motor Ventures were great for auto rental and bicycle rentals were good through Active Pursuit LTD (it's a busy shop and they rarely answer the phone so go in person). Food (grocery or restaurant) is very expensive with limited options and extremely poor for vegetarians. The Pioneer Bakery is good for homemade bread/rolls. Our stay was good and recommend staying here.
