The apartment is fully equipped for your any need. Enjoy morning coffee in your private patio surrounded by a spectacular garden with old palm trees and fruit trees. This is really a tropical haven. Right next to the one bedroom apartment is an outdoor patio for your use only. The apartment is completely renovated and freshly painted and features a newly-remodeled full bathroom. In addition, there is a quaint kitchen with everything you could need. There is also a lovely sunlit dining room as well. High speed internet and cable TV with hundreds of channels available (HBO, Discovery etc) is available. There is a shared washer and dryer on property. The house is situated in historic Old Northwood (corner of 28th and Spruce), near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a prime location. It's a very short drive across the bridge to Palm Beach, Worth Avenue, the Atlantic beaches and to downtown West Palm Beach. The airport is a short 10 minute drive, and it is a 5 minute drive to the train station (Brightline to Tri-Rail to Miami or Fort Lauderdale). It's an easy walking distance to the intracoastal waterway, the Palm Beach Maritime Museum (from where you can take a water taxi to Peanut Island) and the Currie Park with its bike paths, tennis courts and fantastic views. Within two miles you will find City Place with its shopping, restaurants, theaters, sidewalk cafes, nightclubs and boutiques; Clematis Street's shopping and nightlife, the Kravis Center for the performing Arts, the Norton Museum and the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The vibrant shopping area of Northwood Village is four blocks away. Here streets are lined with antique stores, a yoga studio and tons of restaurants. Some general rules: no smoking allowed. The best way of getting around is by car, there is ample street parking in front of the house. There is also a bus to Downtown West Palm Beach, the bus stop is in easy walking distance to the house. You can also get to Miami or Fort Lauderdale on the Tri-rail, its very convenient if you do not want to drive. There is a main house in the front and a lower unit to the garden house, which are also for rent - in case you are thinking about travelling with friends.
