Hit but excessive extra charges

Paying £40 extras for dogs is over the top. Also had to add £10 for parking too! Bed was squeaky and mattress was limp. Otherwise a reasonable stay.

Lovely property that was fit for purpose. The staff were wonderful and the little touches such as the colouring pencils and cartoon characters for kids to colour and then paste on the reception wall was great. My daughter enjoyed that.

Tired looking decor. Walls not clean. Wall lamps rusting. Table not clean. Broken tiles in bathroom. When we were getting ready to leave in the morning a group of staff were directly outside our room constantly using foul language. Bed was not comfortable, worst sleep in a long time needs new mattresses.

J&G Days Inn review

There was hidden costs through yourselves which we only found out about when we arrived at the hotel. This was an extra £25 for pet costs and car parking which wasn’t made clear at all when we booked otherwise we would have no doubt gone elsewhere to stay. We were not happy regarding this and wouldn’t stay here again due to this reason.

I have been using this hotel for several years and have always found it satisfactory for parking, cleanliness and comfort. However on this stay I was disappointed to be charged for parking where before it was free, I also noted the prices have become more expensive and not offering the same value for money that I have previously experienced. I will have to consider whether to use it next time I am in the area.

Good motorway stop

Good motel off the M5. Not much interesting to do or healthy to eat nearby. A real motorway one-nighter. Decor a vit tired bit clean and comfortable.

Hotel is just off the M5 very convenient for a stop room was large clean and quiet. Motorway cafe across the car park for any needs ,Hotel sold snacks.
