Clean, spacious room, but not what I expected

We booked a suite that was advertised to have a kitchenette-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and pictures showed cabinets and a sink. Generally with that there are usually some dishes, silverware, dish soap and the room had none of that. The cabinets were empty, some were locked. The room and bathroom were overall nice, the shower grout needed some serious scrubbing.

Great location with a beautiful property. Friendly kind staff. Beautiful coral fishtank by reception area with entertaining fish. Beautiful pool and equipped gym. The outdoor area looks so inviting and will have to return and spend my breakfast outside. Will come again- thanks!

We liked the shuttle ride to and from the Wheeling Downs Casino. And to local restaurant and local market. Was very pleased with are stay. Everyone was so very nice and accommodating to all are needs.

No amenities

The woman that checked us in had just come in from a smoke break that she was taking under the awning out front of the hotel. She smelt heavily of cigarettes. Was short. Didn’t give me any perks even though I’m an honors member and have gotten perks at every other hotel I stayed at. When I got into the shower I found out the hard way there was no conditioner or body wash in the shower. Then when I got out I figured out there was no lotion. When I checked out after my one night stay I mentioned it to the woman working the counter. Her response was “did you call down and let us know?” I said no, I’m telling you now. She replied that I should let them know next time. All I could think was…when? While I’m in the shower soaked and naked and my family is still sleeping?! Really?! Who in their right mind would call you naked and half clean to bring conditioner, body wash, and lotion to the room to fill the containers that are attached to the wall, and then finish their shower? No mam. I used the shampoo to wash my entire body and my hair is a little crunchy instead of silky smooth.
