Novel set up.

Pros: Quiet
The rooms in this hotel have a mini kitchen and dinning table. The main room has a Murphie bed that is hidden as a sofa during the day and folds down to be a bed at night. The main room has a gas fireplace and second sofa that faces the bed/sofa. The table also folds out to form a bed. A second roller bed is under the table bench. The parking is under the hotel and goes down many levels. Storage lockers are available in the garage for skis or bikes.

Perfect location to the chairlifts and village!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, great pool and lounge chairs!
The location couldn't be better with it being so close to the chairlifts and village! The room had all the essentials as well and we were quite happy with our accommodations! And the internet was great where as a lot of places claim to have internet but really has poor service. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool area with lounge chairs and towels right on pool deck and tables and chairs to eat our lunches.

One stop shopping!

Pros: Free Internet, proximity to gondola, full kitchen
Second year in a row staying at Mountainside Lodge and will keep coming back. The location is perfect, right across the street from Whistler gondola. Add to that a full kitchen, and it's pretty much all you need. This year, we shopped for groceries before getting to Whistler, so we didn't have to spend a cent on meals in the Village. Eating breakfast in our suite meant getting to the slopes earlier, and we added a quick stop back for lunch. Staying here meant more time on the mountain and less money spent on meals. The staff also did a terrific job notifying us of maintenance on the water and also provided us with bottled water in our room during the six hours the water was shut off. Overall, this is a great place to stay and is well worth the price paid.

Great Location but not worth it

Hotel is old and needs updating. Elevator always delayed or broken. We paid for parking but were 'fined' for not showing ticket. Hotel seemed like we had Spring break crowd at Christmas.

Bang for your buck

The room wasn't that nice, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. This hotel has an amazing location, and the staff was phenominal! They made excellent recommendations about food and were very knowledgable about the area. They were friendly, and made us feel right at home.

Tiny Room/Great Location

The pictures of the hotel rooms are rather misleading and were certainly taken with a very wide angle lens. Our studio hotel room turned out to be the size of a postage stamp. Very tight quarters for one adult and two children (14 & 11). The beds were very uncomfortable and the mattresses were very thin. \n\nOn the positive side, the staff was very friendly and the location is just a short walk from the hotel.

Our deluxe one bedroom was just large enough to handle our family of four - with two teenage boys. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff very helpful and not stuck up. They really made us feel at home. Outside noise was a bit bothersome, but that is how it is anywhere in Whistler village.

Great Place to Stay

We loved our stay at the Mountainside Lodge. The room was immaculate and decorated and furnished very fashionably. Right next to the slopes and right in the middle of Whistler Village. Perfect location! Front desk staff and housekeeping were very helpful and pleasant. There are lots of places to stay in Whistler, but if we ever go back, we will stay there again.

Great Place to Stay!!!

I travel 120-130 nights a year. I know a good hotel from a bad one. This is a good one! Most importantly, my room was clean and well maintained. The property has an awesome location! 3 min. walk to gondola and in the heart of all nightlife. Room (loft unit) was much better than I expected. Had a sauna upstairs, jet tub downstairs, and kitchen. Technically it can sleep 6, but it would be crowded with that many people. 4 people should fit comfortably.
