Happy with property again, frypan had been replaced and also taps in both bathroom areas and kitchen. Happy with room and ammenities it offers. Could do with a new shower curtain but we showered after the hot tub every day so didnât worry us that much! Would come again :)
The sad part was when I shared details of my issues with pictures with the owners, I felt like all I got was, something like -that is nice and appeared they will take no action.
To make matters worse, it has been 14 days and the large deposit has not been cleared. Most companies I work with clear it in 1- 3 days.
For the price per night, we were very disappointed.
Misleading
1. It appeared parking was free when we purchased the unit-it was not
2. It appeared that the property was higher on the hill and closer to the slopes on the initial maps i saw. The walk was a challenge for 61 year old who is not in the best of shape. The 10 minute walk in full gear tired me out and lead to a quick fall and a partially dislocated shoulder and the loss of 4 days of great skiing. I have been skiing for 30+ years and my second time this year. Very up setting.
Things are too complicated/hard
1. Getting into the parking garage. Everyone I met could not figure it out, it took 10-30 minutes to get in the first time.
2. Why would build the entrance about two stories below street level. You have to walk up and down in full ski gear?
20 issues were found. Examples-From cooking pots that were bent and Teflon coming off( which you would most likely wind up eating) to 3 plumbing issues to constant barking dogs by the elevator in the complex even though pets are not allowed.
The property had such great potential, but failed on so many levels.
Stayed at this property for a week with my wife. Everything was exactly as advertised. Location and amenities were excellent. The unit was fully stocked and very comfortable. Our hosts were quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
This is definitely one of the better units in this building, even had AC but one thing I didnât like was the carpets were pretty stained for a unit thatâs been recently renovated was a little surprising but still a great unit.
Run Down, Needs a Deep Clean and Needs an Actual King Bed
The bed for this property is not a king. It is two twins pushed together with a gap in between that is shoved full of thin and torn foam.
The drain in the tub was so full of former renters' hair, we had to clean it out as best we could before showering because the plug wouldn't fit in the drain. It was really disgusting. There was also hair and stains in the tub before we even used it.
The bedding is stained, including sheets and spare quilts.
The carpet badly needs a shampoo.
The room itself definitely needs some TLC - it has cracks in the sink, paint is chipped and scraped everywhere, the carpet is so dirty we had to buy slippers as we didn't want to walk with bare feet in the unit.
The frying pans are terrible - why rent a unit without adequate cooking supplies?
The washer and dryer listed are pay units used by other tenants. Not exactly as advertised. They were in use by other tenants when ever we went to use them so we were never able to do any laundry.
The parking is horrible. You have to get out of your vehicle and walk into the parkade to step on the hose to open the door because no fob was provided to open the door. Once we were in, we still got a ticket, despite paying, which we really didn't appreciate.
The security guard was awful. He met us after hours for check in and was obviously angry. The property should really consider employing a more professional person.
If there'd been anywhere else to stay, we would've requested our money back first thing in the morning. We checked many hotels but due to a large event in town that week, rooms either weren't available or were very expensive.
We thus can't recommend staying at this property and definitely won't return.
Loved this property, location was great, bus out front and able to walk if we wanted to the village or ski run. Hot tub was amazing after day at slopes. Would recommend for family of 4- just be mindfull of the pull out sofa mattress springs but we had kids on it so didnât matter too much, the other bed was comfy and kitchen was very usable.
Good location , close easy access to ski lift. Trail/ski back home very handy. Apartment clean , modern & comfortable. Only complaint was poor cooking utensils. Fry pan needs to be replaced. Wooden spatula was disintergrating should be thrown out. We made do! Minor fixable issues. Would stay again.
Place was quiet and cozy. Heard little to no noiseâŠ. Had all the essentials (towels, utensils, cooking pans/pots). Free shuttle is just outside. We liked this unit and good customer service to our needs.
General comments: we like to cook meals so we took a couple of pans cause generally kitchens have lower quality items. We came with oils, spices, etc and glad we did. But overall, pots and pans were usable. There are no condiments, or any cooking products, so bring your own.
The hottub was mildly hot for about 3-4 minutes but not 102-104. And the pool was quite cold and was colder during weekdays. We saw a lot of steam coming off of Aspens pool (next door) and very little at ours (the Marquis). But for the price and value, I still did the pool and enjoyed hopping between the two.
The ski lockers fit 3 snowboards and 4 sets of skis so plenty of room.
We loved all the Keyless entry ways. No fuss and whole family could come and go.
Place was very warm even as we turned off the heat.
If we went back, weâd look at this unit or the Marquis again.
