Best location for the price

Stayed at Peak Lodge for a long weekend. It has all the basics covered and is centrally located just a short stroll to Whistler Gondola - literally on the Whistler Stroll with all the bars shops and restaurants out of the front door. If you are looking for a prime location and none of the frills- this is it. I’ll stay again.

The location was fantastic and even though the hotel is in the village the position of the room was away from the really loud areas. There was a bar downstairs but if the window is closed it is ok. The biggest issue with the unit was the poor state of repair and how rundown the room was. Threadbare sheets, rips in the carpet, leaking bath taps, and general shabbiness was disappointing given the price point. Serviceable, but you most certainly do not want to spend more time in the suite then you need to.

Accommodation outstanding … but

The property was clean, well maintained and appointed. The reason I did give give a 5 * rating was the front desk knowledge. The young lady at the desk when I arrived was very pleasant and welcoming. U fortunately though she appeared to be inadequately trained regarding the hotel facilities and nearby directions. On 4 occasions she gave me either wrong directions or ones missing important directions.
