We spent a wonderful four nights here, enjoying fall at Glacier National Park. Had the entire place to ourselves, which was really nice! Tamara was fabulous at meeting us and giving us ideas for places to hike, great drives for fall color, and good places to eat nearby. The unit was clean and very comfortable. As noted in many of the reviews, there is noise from the road and the trains that go by several times in the night. The heat registers also make noise when they come on, so for anyone very sensitive to sound at night, this might not be the choice. Kitchen was minimally stocked, but had what we needed. No dishwasher, but with just two of us that wasnât a problem. We had a great visit and would come here again.
A very nice, super clean, spacious property. The full kitchen was great. Location was very convenient for food, shops and access to Glacier NP.
Tamara, the property manager, was great with communicating and making sure that everything was in order.
The lodge was well stocked and located close to Glacier National Park. The views were beautiful! The property manager team, Tamara and Trudi were very respectful, responsive and provided great recommendations. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
It was the best of times...it was the worst of time. Our interaction with VRBO and the host was absolutely terrible. We tried to communicate with them, and we simply did not get responses back - the level of responsiveness was unacceptable. Two weeks before our trip my wife was injured, and we were advised by her doctor not to go on our vacation. We contacted the host to see if we could cancel, but we were told we could not. We offered to swap dates (we wanted to make the trip) but we were told that was not possible either We contacted VRBO and they offered to intervene with the owner on our behalf to see what could be done. From that moment on, we received no feedback at all from either VRBO or the owner. Since we had already paid for the unit, we decided to make the trip anyway rather than just have that money go to waste. We followed the check in instructions we had received but when we arrived at the site, no one was there to meet us. We called VRBO and thankfully someone answered - they told us to wait, and they would attempt to contact the host. Finally, they did get in touch with the host who eventually sent a representative over to the unit. When our host's representative finally arrived, she said no one was there to meet us because we had cancelled!! I told her we tried to cancel but we were told we could not.
On the positive side the upper floor condo/ lodge was beautiful - spacious and clean and in a great location.
This apartment is located in a lodge that is used as a wedding venue. We stayed 2 days and had the place to ourselves. Very convenient to Glacier Park and restaurants. The unit is up a flight of stairs. It is spacious, with all the amenities for a top flight stay. It is designed with a western flair. There is some road noise and infrequent train noise (ear plugs provided). Great base for exploring the Park.
The cabin is lovely, and so comfortable. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and everything there that we needed. Our associate who welcomed us was delightful and so accommodating. Highly recommend Heaven's Peak, and would definitely return!
Super convenient location for visiting the park. The XL spa tub was perfect for recuperating after long hikes. Kitchen had everything we needed. 10/10 would stay here again.
Very Nice Cabin and Super Close to West Galacier/Apgar
We loved the location of this cabin to use as our jumping off point for visiting the west side of Glacier National Park. The cabin was clean and well suited for our family of four. The VRBO listing had listed that they had coin laundry available, which was part of our reason why we had chosen it. However that is not accurate.
We only stayed a few days, but would be good place for a longer stay as well with the large open concept living area and a large closet that worked great for storing all of our gear.
For this unit, you do have to meet a host at check-in instead of getting a key code and checking in at any time. The host was accommodating with check-in time.
Very pleasant and pretty. Private. Kitchen is great. We cooked all meals except the picnic lunch! Great location with fast access to the national park. King bed very comfy. Short but great stay !
