Sleeping 8, Elk Run is a charming 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom Montana home in the Whitefish Mountain Foothills—only 5 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort! With 2,500 square feet of living space, guests will love the outdoor firepit and downstairs studio, as well as multiple decks with Whitefish Lake and forest views. Explore Flathead Valley's top restaurants, bars, breweries, and distilleries, all an hour from Glacier National Park.

Step into the heart of this 3-story home on the main level, where a great room, awash with natural light from an expansive wall of windows, perfectly encapsulates the rugged aesthetic of the region with a harmonious blend of natural colors and textures. A stunning wraparound deck provides breathtaking views, along with a propane grill and shaded areas for respite from the sun and total relaxation.

Downstairs opens to a spacious studio, complete with a kitchenette, a dining table that's great for meals or game nights, and a comfortable queen bed. Enjoy access to the lower-level deck leading to a lakeside firepit and great views.

Newly added central heating and cooling keeps everyone comfortable in this incredible vacation home, and on-site garage parking for 1 vehicle makes it easy to explore the area and downtown Whitefish.

Great company- Our flight way delayed and we didn't arrive until 11 pm Christmas Eve. All grocery stores were going to be closed so we had food delivered to the house. The staff went on Christmas Eve afternoon and brought the groceries from outside and put them in the fridge for us. Amazing. Wonderful mountain house. Easy 8 min drive to ski slopes, view of the lake. Great hiking and fire pits. Really nice set up in the mountains but so close to town. LOVED downtown Whitefish. Will definitely be back.

Overall a very neat house. We were a little surprised at the size of kitchen/living area. The pictures made these rooms appear much larger. But the house had everything we needed. We even stopped at grocery store before we checked in and bought dish soap, trash bags and TP because other vrbo’s have never had enough. This house had plenty of everything and that was very much appreciated. Location was fantastic! Close to town yet we felt like we were alone in the woods with a great view of the lake. We wished the firepit was in the back of the house versus the front, but we enjoyed the deck and its views.

House in woods

House was beautiful. Quirky setup with bathroom across hall from master, but we took top bedroom and our son took downstairs bedroom. The views from house, master and back deck are beautiful. Amazing decks.

View of lake and park forest is amazing!!

You feel like you’re the only house on the mountain!! Tons of privacy in house and room to spread out. Big spa bathtub with plenty of hot water to fill it and soak after long hike or ski day! All you need in the kitchen for family dinner. Hope to make it back there again someday.

Amazing views of whitefish lake

An amazing place with breathtaking views of whitefish lake! Very nice house with a lot of room and bedrooms!! Great nestled dead end road that the house sits on in the woods. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in whitefish Montana!!!!

Property not ready for guest

Upon arrival there were issues. Painters were in the midst of painting, duct tape was around the front door and plastic sheets were fluttering in the wind meant to keep paint off of the windows. The windows did not operate very well in the master bedroom and on some windows not at all. The deck was deemed to be not safe and had soft spots in the floor where the floor gave a bit when walked on. The safety of the deck was questioned by maintenance people of the managing company. Needless to say we cancelled our stay at this property and another property was secured for our stay.

Very pleased

This was our first VRBO stay, and we loved it. Everything was seamless and easy from our request to stay to departure. The Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our 7 day stay. There were sufficient toiletries and kitchen supplies to get us started until we could get our bearings and venture out for our own supplies. Ashley quickly responded every time I asked for help. The cabin is perfectly located with access to town, it’s near other properties but you barely know it when your there. We were visited by white tail deer and elk every day. We usually eat out more. But the cabin was so comfortable and well located, that we came back and cooked or grilled out between our hiking trips. We only ate outside the cabin once in 7 days. All around great experience and we hope to be back as soon as possible.

Montana mountain escape

My mom and I had a fabulous stay here. The home was beautiful and the sunsets and views of Whitefish Lake were just lovely. We were so comfy there that one day we just stayed in and enjoyed the restful sanctuary. We roasted hotdogs over the fire pit and enjoyed the morning songbirds serenading us over coffee on the deck. Would recommend this property without hesitation!
