Great place. Nice rooms, yummy breakfast only downside was there was like a school there so we did not get to enjoy the pool, hot tub or sauna because it was over crowded with teenagers. Overall a really great place just wish they would manage how long they were in there tried both nights and even early and super late. My coworker said same problem when they stayed there too but would have been really cool.

We love a getaway in Kalispell and Red Lion is always our go to place to stay because we love its location. We have noticed a steady decline as the hotel gets older. My husband always enjoyed the comfy occasional chair in the corner of the room, but I guess it wore out and now it’s gone, nothing new in its place, same with the lobby area, less and less there every time. Rooms are in need of a face lift and a good deep clean. Breakfast is a real plus and is always good! Hope to see a comeback Red Lion!

The only problem, & I forgot to tell anyone, was the sheer curtains on the window can be seen thru, & it was on the 1st floor. The dark curtains are not big enough to cover the window, & don't close.

The only odd thing about this hotel is that it is attached to a dying mall. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Lots of walkable places to eat nearby. We came in January, so not sure if it gets busier, but we had most amenities to ourselves. We were the only ones at the continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub were also empty, which was great. I really enjoyed the pool location.
