It's sweet summertime in the mountains. Come experience the Smoky Mountain train ride in Bryson City!! Our cabin has a beautiful modern design with vaulted ceilings, lots of windows and rustic mountain charm. Very private yet close to everything. It sits on a mountain ridge in the trees with relaxing mountain views! Our cabin is located at the end of a paved road and although it sits up on a ridge you do not have to endure scary, winding dirt roads to get to it. 5 minutes drive to Cherokee, 10 minutes to Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
Cabin was beautiful and cozy. clean. It was truly a rustic cabin in the mountains. Steep driveway which can be slick. It did get cold and snow while we were there and days before we mentioned to management that there was not remote to the mini split in the cabin so we could use heat but they didnât seem concerned. Fireplace was not ideal and smelt like gas. Spacer heaters were provided which did help. Pets not allowed on furniture which kind of made it feel not pet friendly? The views were beautiful and the location is convenient to Cherokee and Bryson City for activities. Quiet street.
The property was a not what we expected... It was more than we expected and my wife is not use to staying in places like this but it was very cozy and clean. Def recommend the stay.
We arrived an hour prior to check-in. Most all places will let you go ahead and check in, if the property is ready. Despite the property being ready for guest, we werenât allowed to check in early without an additional $30 for the hour. There was a spider web, complete with spider in the primary tub. There are spider webs all over the exterior of the property. The exterior is unkept. Both beds are really firm and we tried sleeping on both. The air conditioner is in the den and seems too small to cool the entire house. The guest bedroom has a ceiling fan that goes nuts when on high. The washer and dryer is in the basement. There is not a handrail at the top of the basement stairs. Property was clean.
The cabin was clean, views were great. Missed proximity to water as hubby wanted to fish. Proximity to Cherokee and Bryson city was spot on. Only drawback was cabin was pet friendly and area also but neighbors let their Rottweilers out unleashed during walk stating 'they live here' which was unsettling as any visitors may feel targeted and uncomfortable.
The place is well located within 25 minutes of Smokey Mountain National Park. Dog hair and human hair all over the bedspread - an unfortunate start to our stay.
A/C inadequate for the house and only cools the living room which is strange.
Otherwise good location and enough space.
It was a very nice place to stay with our family on a little fishing trip get away, the neighbors were great, and it's far enough away for peace and quiet and close enough to town to enjoy everything Cherokee has to offer, communication with hosts was also great!
This is a beautiful cabin well worth staying here then at one of the Motels or Hotel. Beautiful view of the mountains and nature. If I was you I would book this if itâs open. This is a short trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge through the Smokeyâs, you wonât be disappointed. Mary was very communicative from start to finish. Five Stars.
We loved the cabin and its location! There was a small issue with the fireplace; the hosts were very attentive and the issue was resolved quickly. The hosts allow pets so we brought our dog and had a wonderful visit.
Our family had a great time staying here. The views were spectacular and the cabin was very clean and quiet. The cabin is in a great location in relationship to being close to a lot of different attractions such as the waterfalls, park head trails, shopping, museums, etc. The hosts were very accommodating and responded to any queries immediately. All of the above, helped to make our stay at our very first log cabin a relaxing and wonderful vacation!
We loved our stay at this location and would have loved a longer stay! The place was very comfortable and peaceful. The location is great and is close to a lot of things on the south side of the national park. The one thing of note is that you enter at the top of the stairs in the photo listed, so consider if you can handle the stairs. We would stay again! Thank you.
Midway between Bryson City and Cherokee, and at the southeast edge of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Very convenient and quiet location. Home/cabin is lovely, modern, well set up, clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer in clean basement.
This was my second vacation stay to this property, and for a good reason..I was never disappointed! I loved the view, the scenery, the cabin had everything we needed, and it was neat and clean. Nice balcony and a fire pit for late night relaxation..and itâs not far from the main sites of the Smokey Mountains! I will definitely be back again!
The manager was easy to communicate with, easy checking and checkout . House appeared to have renovated with 2 newer bathrooms and kitchen. Location was an easy drive to Cherokee casino. Loved being able to bring our fur baby !
Downside of this rental - 1-very steep steps to gain access to front door. Would not recommend this for anyone with hip or knee issues or small children. 2-no Mountain View at all! Only view you have is the neighbors house, which is close. 3- only one ac wall unit that didnât cool the bedrooms very good. Iâm sure in the cooler months it would be fine.3- only 1 tv in house. 4- bedsheets and spread very thin . 4- needs updated/ more comfortable furniture in LR
Very nice cabin/home. Great location and weâll-maintained. Hosts were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we posed. We would recommend this cabin/home to family and friends.
