Not happy customers

Floor of lobby & elevator had wet spots. Turned out to be sticky not just water. Walls had holes, some patched, dirt & trash in corners. Floor of room had toe nails on it. Continental breakfast was only muffins & granola bar. We were disappointed as we've stayed in many Comfort Inns. Desk clerk didn't even greet us as we left.

After the property was brought by another owner the hotel service pretty much diminished. No more breakfast, cleaning service, etc. Frontdesk was not a big help.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We stood around for 10 minutes before someone walked up. There was no breakfast. The place smelled of smoke. We could hear a smoke alarm battery beeping all night.

I was surprised that there was no Xmas declarations on dis play in the building. I was there on Dec.19-21, 2024. The web-site said there was waffles grill and my disappoint there was not one. Lastly, some of the employees carried the attitude and expression that they did want to be there, no smiles or positive body language at all. Employees should be more interactive with paying customers.

Everything inside the property was good. The parking lot was deep in snow and slick to walk into the building. It didn't seem a snow plow had been used, only vehicles driving through the driveway had knocked down the snow.

The size of the room size was awesome. Also had a great breakfast. That always helps me choose where I’m staying.(just make sure you know what time they quit serving stayed two days and the second day breakfast was already done.) so the time must have changed.

The gentleman at the desk was helpful and efficient and responsive to calls and requests. The shower grout was stained with mold and needed replaced or cleaned better. Nice breakfast spread and food that was supposed to be warm was indeed warm.

We stayed 3 nights total. The first night everything was fine. Day 2 we got locked out of our room. We were told they didnt program our keys correctly...no problem. They "fixed them", but an hour later I had to run out and get something and got locked out a 2nd time. Day 2 and 3 we had zero hot water when taking showers. The room itself was fine. The carpet was ripped up in multiple places, but it was a place to sleep for the night. Breakfast was mediocre. All the hot food (eggs and sausage) was cold. I am not sure if the heater underneath wasnt lit, but it was not edible because it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours.
