Pros: great communication & cleanliness Cons: 1. No bottled water & snacks though it was stated there would be2. Coffee station only had Splenda for sweetener3. Mattress was EXTREMELY uncomfortable 4. Mold in corner of shower5. Shower head is very low, I'm 5'3 & I had to squat under shower head6. VERY difficult to get into shower, it's also a bathtub with very high sides. Grab bars are not placed efficiently, I almost fell getting out.7. They want you to take your trash to the freaking trash can & fold your dirty towelsI don't recommend this place
Nice fireplace and soaking tub. Floors made to much noise. People upstairs can hear them walk. No water in fridge in lobbyPlace was very cold inside. Do not think i will come back. Also needs a microwave somewhere for single guest rooms.
It was a bit noise. We would expect to have a coffee machine and a small fridge in the room.Other then that it was great. Especially the amazing bathtub.
Check in was good. We had a minor issue with the internet but the host took care of it to our satisfaction. The room was good but a couple of things could have been cleaner. Nothing major wrong. The jacuzzi tub was nice; it is a large step up into the tub and down on the outside. An additional step up outside the tub would be good. I think there is a potential for injury, so you might want to consider doing something about that. We liked the facility, it was as advertised. When you reserve one of these rooms there is no facilities for cooking, which is okay. I brought my camp stove and cooked breakfast on the tailgate of my truck, otherwise we ate out. It worked well for us. Thank you!
The room was quaint, cozy, and very clean. I loved the claw foot tub/ shower but my husband ( big guy) said he felt like he was showering in cellophane. lol The location was great, 5 minutes from downtown but far enough that it was very quiet. It is NOT in the woods. The property management is no where to be seen, so they ask you to email your drivers license and credit cardâŠâŠ.. I absolutely hate that and feel that it is a risk for identity theft. Our original room had a water leak, before we checked in, they had contacted us and moved us into another room so I appreciate that. The fireplace in the room will heat up your room and gives it a romantic atmosphere. The rap around porch is sweet but needs some repairs. My service dog and I were able to walk into the next door neighborhood . We were able to walk and found a great relief station in an empty lot. Of course we carried it back and disposed it in the lodges trash receptacle . All and all the lodge made for a great getaway. I gave it 4 only because they wanted me to send my license and credit card my email. Even after the charges had gone through and we have signed a rental agreement.
No check in email until I called, no AC, (another couple that arrived on Friday said they saw there was AC also) Little to no maintenance, rotting and warped floor boards on wrap around deck, stubbed my toe on a warped floorboard at night. Fortunately I didnât fall. Need better lighting on deck. Listed complimentary water in the refrigerator in the common room. Very little water there. No one came to check on property or to restock anything. Landscaping needs to be taken care of. Surrounding fence falling apart. Noisy road. Will not return.
We decided to book a stay off the grid from the main town for some much needed peace and quiet, but the guests above us ended up being very noisy really early each morning and late into the night, leaving not much sleep for us. Check in was a little hectic, as we didnât realize the property management team who over sees the property sends a completely separate email with check in instructions and we had to contact VRBO directly to find this out. 3 body towels for 2 people for a 2 night stay wasnât ideal, and no room service is offered for a replenish. Keep in mind there is no AC unit, but a small fan is provided. The property and room was clean, so that was a plus. We will not be staying here again, and opt for a hotel instead.
Very nice room but was expecting to do a little cooking or at least a microwave and people walking around upstairs made a lot of noise on the very creaky floor
The property was very nice and convenient for our needs. It would be nice to have individual temperature control of the room. It was a little too warm for my wife and I to sleep comortably.
