The only heat in the room was a small tabletop space heater. This on a night that was going down to 17 degrees. I feel that the desk clerk should have made me aware of this before check-in. He did say that the breakfast would be minimal - only cold cereal. When I went in in the morning even the cereals were empty. So, effectively, no breakfast.

The staff at the Inn was extremely pleasant, however that was the only thing I can say good about my experience. When we went into the room, I found dead roaches on the table and immediately checked the beds. Thankfully, there were no bugs in the bed. The room was absolutely FREEZING and the heater under the AC did not work. The entire room had to be "heated" by a small space heater, which it did not do. I called the front desk to ask for an additional heater because it was so very cold but was told that they didn't have anymore. My son and I had to sleep in sweatshirts and jackets to stay warm. We left first thing in the morning. Would not stay at this facility again.

Check in went well but when we got to our room the heat wasn't working. We were going to call the front desk but there was no phone in our room so we had to walk outside to go to the office. We were told that the phone broke a few weeks ago and they never got around to putting another one in. The front desk guy (I think his name was Jay) brought a space heater to our room which didn't do much - outside temp was 28 degrees. Later in the evening power in our room and many of the surrounding rooms went out for about an hour so any amount of heat we had was lost. Power went out again around 7:00 am and at that point we decided we would check out and get other accommodations. My husband went to the office and said we were going to cancel the next 2 nights which we had booked and asked if there was anything that could be done since the night we stayed was a disaster. The same guy from the night before got belligerent and said we were looking for a free night which was not the case. He then said in his words "You need to be out by 11:00. Not 11:10, Not 11:01, 11:00 or he would not authorize Expedia to refund our remaining 2 nights. Fortunately we were able to find another hotel which checked us in early and our trip was not ruined by this hotels run down facility and unprofessional staff member.

The room was in good condition, quaint, but in Williamsburg it fits right in. They did provide a space heater as this was the only means of heat. It worked ok. Breakfast should say coffee and a small muffin. We knew ahead and brought our own breakfast.

While I checked in, the building manager made fun of my face mask -- the mask was intended to protect others and myself from potentially fatal disease. The room itself did not have working heat. The building manager came in and confirmed the heat wasn't working (in this room and also other rooms). He offered us a space heater but it didn't do a good job. Also, the sheets looked like they might have bedbugs. The building manager said some of the rooms still didn't have working phones after a storm several months ago. Even though this room's phone was working, this indicated possible other things wrong with the building/room. Finally, some of the ceiling tiles were out of place, indicating possible other things wrong with the building/room. We told the building manager we weren't satisfied, and he offered us a full refund. We then found another hotel and then checked out of this one shortly after checking in. We then called Hotels.com to request a refund, and when Hotels.com called the building manager about this he approved a full refund. Hotels.com then told us we will receive a full refund.

I have never recommended a person not stay at a motel before, but unless the outside temperatures are mild - you will not be comfortable here. The room was unbelievably cold! Even with the space heater they gave us we had wear winter coats and hats inside the room. The bathroom was so cold we did not dare take a shower. This is not an unusual condition for this motel as the HVACs are inadequate for the rooms.

The best was out so they put little space heaters (1500W, I assume) in every room. The overnight low one might was 18F. The shower wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either most times i used it. Iddly sometimes it was hot enough (but only on the hottest setting.) No room service for a three night stay, but you can bring towels to the front desk to swap your dirty ones...

Remember that Pancake house I mentioned? You'll need it, The continental bfast here was horrible. White bread, cereal and those tiny mini muffins you buy for your kids' lunch...with four itty bitty ones in a bag: same thing here. The fridge although working: didn't keep cool any of our food and had to be trashed the next day. For an overnight for one or two persons: I'd do it again as it's about half price and its QUIET.

It was a room i expected, but heat wasnt working and cold air was coming in through window AC. They brought a space heater. Breaker tripped twice, 1st time calling in and switched it, 2nd time was 8am and they never turned it back on, so we left.

Wasn’t told until I arrived that the heat had went out. There was an air conditioner unit in the window for “heat”. I was offered a space heater if it was too cold. If I used the space heater I wasn’t allowed to use anything else. If I wanted to use the microwave or hair dryer I had to turn the a/c, heater off. Apparently this has been this way for some time. Was told to keep the bathroom door shut. When I had to go to the bathroom it was freezing cold in there. The room was clean. Not what I expected at all.
