Checked into my room and noticed the bathtub had not been clean as there was chunk of soap sticking to the drain , and hair all over back edge of tub and dirty and debris throughout! It was kinda gross I’m all honesty clearly it wasn’t clean so what else was skipped in the room cleaning?

We were here for the Little League World Series. The free breakfast is amazing! The staff was very accommodating. The building has many symptoms of its age but overall was a great stay.

Overall, the hotel was nice. The staff was excellent. Everyone from housekeeping and food services to the front desk were wonderful and helpful. The downside was at check in, we had to try three different rooms before we got the correct one. We reserved 2 queens and got assigned to 2 rooms that had full sized beds (rooms 526 and 625). When we got to the third room, 109, it was the right sized beds. However, there was mold growing on the wall behind the ottoman. We took a picture, showed the front desk staff and emailed it. That part was disappointing but again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

All I have to say is wow…and not in a good way. Pictures online made this look like an old timey, cool place to stay. I think hotels in Afghanistan probably are better. This may have been a crown jewel at one time but now it’s tired, sad and dirty. Asked for maid service, got a clean towel but they never took the old, made the bed or replaced the soap and shampoo. Avoid if at all possible. Quite the disappointment.

Not like the photos on the website

This is an old hotel badly in need of updating. We've traveled extensively in Europe and have stayed in hotels older than this one that were in much better condition. The photos of the "standard double" on the website are very deceiving. The room was tiny, having only 2-3 feet clearance around the double bed. There was one night stand, a side chair (with stained upholstery) and a cabinet with drawers on one side, a microwave and mini-frig on the other, and a TV on top. No where but the floor to open our suitcases and no closet to hang clothing. The bathroom was also quite cramped and dated. Pink ceramic tile, right out of the 50's and a sink smaller than most people have in their powder room. Neither the sink nor the tub/shower had good drainage. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the lower level and was typical, scrambled eggs but no salsa or cheese to add for flavor, breakfast sausage, bread, English muffins, juices and coffee.
