If you're coming to Lake Tawakoni to get away from it all in nature, this is your place!

We maximized the lake views with multiple huge & comfy outdoor living spaces. A covered back deck has a sweeping lake view, a sectional sofa, dining table, and BBQ grill. And there's more: play foosball, sip drinks at the Mahalo bartop, or watch TV on the outdoor 50" flat-screen—all outside in the lake breezes!

Not to mention your two-acre lot that's shaded by multiple towering pecan trees. A serene fountain is great for your morning meditations, and private fishing pier lets you experience some of the best fishing in Texas right in your own backyard!

MAIN HOUSE DETAILS

Thoughtful Spanish Modern design welcome you to Lago Vista—which was totally remodeled in 2019—and walls of windows let in light and lake views. Keep the views close as you hang out in the sunken living area, prep meals in the gleaming modern kitchen, and dig into group feasts at the 6-person dining table (with space for 4 more at the nearby bartop).

Three deluxe bedrooms in the main house include a king-size master suite, a queen guest room and a sleepover-ready bunk room with two full-over-full bunkbeds and a twin trundle.

Each mattress is high-end, organic, and wrapped in butter-soft luxury linens for an extremely comfortable night's sleep.

Both the master en-suite bathroom and the guest bath were recently upgraded, with indulgences like a walk-in shower with two showerheads (one is a rainfall!) in the master bath.

CASITA DETAILS

The Casita at Lago Vista also features end-to-end lake views from the open-concept common areas and upper-level deck.

This space sleeps 4 with a king-size bedroom and another bedroom with two twins—all with high-end mattresses and luxury linen. Both bedrooms share a full, newly remodeled bath with an exquisitely tiled walk-in shower.

A full kitchen, mid-century modern dining table for 4, and living area with a flat-screen TV make this an ideal spot for the grandparents, newlyweds, or anyone else who wants a little extra privacy. (This space shares no walls with the main house; it attaches at the garage.)

1st Family Vacation with the grandkids

Perfect for our needs. We rented the whole property that includes the apartment. Nothing better when traveling with toddlers. Dallas/stockyards are only about 1 1/2 hours. Can't forget Buck-ees about 30 min and groceries and everything you need about 20 min. Away. Communication was great and on time. This owner has an app that makes it easy peasy for all instructions, restaurants everything you need to know.

First time visitor to Lake

Our stay was rushed as we were scheduled for another lake, but things change. We committed to follow our long standing guide to Lake Tawakonia We feel (5 of us) we were fortunate to find LAGO VISTA available two weeks out from our trip. We were not there long enough to enjoy all of the features but we were and are favorably impressed whit all of what is there (boat dock etc) . we would return should the occasion arise.

Early Spring Weekend

We had a group of 8 adults and there was more than enough room to accommodate our entire group. The house was clean and fully stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We used the fishing dock and was able to secure our boat in the small cove. We caught several large catfish and enjoyed sitting in the back patio at night The fishing dock is not lighted so we did have to use our own lighting to fish at night. The host showed great communication and responded promptly to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property to large groups or families with lots of kids. There are a lot of stairs both short and tall so the property is not very wheelchair accessible but we knew that going in and made due with the our one guest that uses an electric wheelchair. All in all I gave the property 5 stars and would definitely visit again.

A Memorable Lakeside Gathering this turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. Spending time with friends is always a joy, but this particular occasion was made even more special by the stunning natural backdrop.this home overlooks a beautiful lake, and even the weather cooperated to create a unique atmosphere. We were treated to spectacular views of rainstorms rolling across the water. The dramatic skies and the shimmering surface of the lake created a mesmerizing scene that we all enjoyed.There’s something incredibly calming and awe-inspiring about watching a storm from a cozy, dry vantage point. It sparked conversations, laughter, and a shared sense of appreciation for the beauty of nature.The company was, of course, the most important element. Good friends, good conversation, and a comfortable setting are the ingredients for a perfect get-together. The relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to unwind and connect, creating memories that I know we’ll all cherish.I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity to stay for another gathering. The combination of good company and the beautiful lakeside setting is something I’d love to recreate. It was a reminder of the simple pleasures in life and the importance of sharing them with the people you care about. Here’s to many more memorable moments by the lake!

Absolute perfection on the lake!

Our group was 6 adults and 3 kids. The house was perfect size for our group. We loved how much seating was available especially with the patio dining table and outdoor couch/chairs. The home is beautifully decorated and is on a very large lot with lots of room for the kiddos to play. I highly recommend this for a lake weekend with friends or family!

House is a great layout for multiple families coming together. Yard was perfect for the kids to run around. Swimming area off the dock was great. We caught several fish off the banks. Wonderful girls weekend!

We celebrated a friend getting married with 8 girls and we could not have asked for a more relaxing getaway. The home and upstairs apartment were absolutely perfect. It felt just like home and so comfortable. We never ran into anything we needed that we did not have. I did have to message the host a few times before arrival and always received a timely response. I hope we can continue to make this an annual trip! We would love to go back!

Very nice home!

The home is beautifully decorated and appears to be recently renovated. It has 2 parts the main property and a 2 bedroom apartment both have very nice outdoor sitting areas. The home is furnished very well. It sits on a large lot directly on the water and has private dock for fishing. It does have a few maintenance needs and the outside areas didn't appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival and Sabrina can be difficult to contact or non-responsive at times. BUT I would stay here again and in all a VERY NICE home and was perfect for our stay!

Perfect location and a large group

It is a very spacious house and property. With everything you need.. Right on the lake. There is not a boat ramp on the property. But you can put in about 5mins away. We went fishing in the morning. We could dock by the house and come eat lunch then go back out. Very convenient.. Without loading and unloading the boat. The owners are very accommodating. We will be back next year. Loved this property

Please note that within the first hour of arrival I stepped off is near invisible drop off and wound up with a broken arm that is scheduled for surgery on Thursday the 20th. Please note that other than the numerous steps around house this house was clean and spacious. Because of the fall and injury I would like to settle this amicably so please call me as soon as possible.
