Welcome to The Dream Getaway.

Welcome to our oceanfront/beachfront home located at 1834A S Shore Dr, Surf City, NC 28445.

This newest edition is a three story single family oceanfront private escape. The views are SPECTACULAR. We offer 3 levels of private oceanfront decking, two outdoor showers and an oceanfront outdoor entertaining area with a charcoal grill and also includes a new 6.75’ x 6.75’ Nordic Hot Tub that seats 7.

Our location is IDEAL in Surf City on Topsail Island. We are on a quiet stretch of the beach surrounded by other homes but are still only 2 miles south of the pier and all of the shops and restaurants.

We have installed new LVP flooring ( No CARPET in this HOME) and purchased new smart TVs - one for every bedroom and one in the living room.

The home interior has been freshly painted and has new decor, new linens, new mattresses, new furniture, new sheets and towels and completely refreshed amenities.
The oceanfront balcony offers captains chairs so you can see over the railings for unobstructed ocean views.

The driveway can accommodate at least 5 cars.

We provide 10 brand new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys.
We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and pantry items, keurig and K-cups,hand soap, hair dryer in every bathroom / shampoo/conditioner, body wash and toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.

We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case by case basis and a $100 refundable pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the beds. We are sorry but we do not allow cats.

Two comfortable portable beds with memory mattresses are available to sleep two extra people. We have determined these are much more comfortable and more flexible than a sleeper sofa as they can be used in any room in the home - even outside for the adventurous type.

We do not offer discounts of any kind. We offer an extremely high level of service, flexibility and a ton of amenities not found in most beach rentals.
If you have a specific request, we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Everything at the house was great, the only thing I wish the house had, it would be a table cloth or table mats. The access to the beach was easy. The house was beautiful with 2 decks to admire the ocean. Big windows to see the ocean from the living room and dining room. Big kitchen with enough plates for inside and outside. The doors to close the two decks were perfect to keep the dog inside. We enjoyed the hot tub. Overall a wonderful experience. I definitely come back.

Absolutely amazing house, amazing location! Super clean, they give you a ton of supplies like coffee and sugar. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub is heated for free, and has an amazing view of the stars at night while feeling completely secluded. The beach is perfect, walk right out to it. Totally recommend getting up for a sunset! The town is cute, we went out on the pier at sunset one night. Very cool watching the fishermen/women trying to pull in their catch. Hands down one of our absolute best Vrbo stays. ( we have had 6 this year) Our family loved it so much we are talking about making it a yearly tradition.

We love this place! Plenty of room for all our family including me and my wife, 2 of our adult children w/spouses and 4 granddaughters. With 3 levels and plenty of deck space. We could gather together for meals and games but also find solace when desired. Nap time :). We love watching the kids at the beach for the 3rd floor deck. But could also quickly run down to participate.

Wonderful Beachhouse on Topsail Island

We had the best time in this beach house. The host couldn't have been more accommodating. The house had everything we needed, including chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, board games, a well-equipped kitchen -- everything! The bedrooms were perfect, beds were comfortable, and the location was best of all -- right on the beach. It was an ideal stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway

Our family doesn’t get to be altogether very much during the year, and getting to spend time with each other in this home is the highlight of our year. Relaxing and perfect

Everything from the start was just perfect. The property owner was very gracious and pleasant in her communications with us, and the housekeeper texted us her name and numton the day of arrival in case we needed anything. The house was clean, well stocked and equipped with anything you would need, and the view from the upstairs living room and kitchen is spectacular. The private beach access was a very short walk, and the beach was never even remotely crowded. We were happy they this is a dog friendly property. Our little dogs loved the house and the d cl and the beach. It made it a wonderful time for us to relax and be together.Topsail Steamer is a must do if you love seafood. We did it twice in three nights!We hope to be able to stay in this same house the next time we want a quiet beach vacation!

The best family house!

I was worried about bringing two toddlers and a golden retriever to a rental, but this house was just the best as it had everything we could think of and loved being literal steps from the beach! I really appreciated the little things that were provided in the home (baby gates, plastic cups/plates etc.) that made it feel like my babies were truly welcomed! The views from the kitchen and living room and the third floor deck were the highlight of our stay! Communication with Katrina and Christine really elevate the whole experience. I can't recommend this house enough!
