Convenient shopping & restaurants are within walking distance. Short & extended rentals for business travelers or those relocating. Minutes from historic Chadds Ford & the scenic Brandywine Valley, plan to tour our Wine & Ale Trail, hike our greenways or experience the many duPont Chateau's with their glorious gardens & grounds. Though the suite is connected to the rest of the house, a locked door gives you constant privacy. The space has separate entrance with en suite full bath and adjoining sitting/working area. Feel free to enjoy our lower level garden patio. You can walk through our back yard to a nice walking path around our town center, ponds and fountains. We enjoy the company of those who wish to interact and respect the privacy of those who don't. We are available as needed, on site to provide assistance to make this your perfect stay.

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed as a solo traveler, and I can see it’s ideal for a couple as well. Top marks all around! Nicely appointed and roomy suite in a beautiful neighborhood where I enjoyed walking in open greenery and to nearby shopping. I’ve never felt more “at home” on the road.

Nice, quiet property in a beautiful neighborhood. Felt very safe. Comfortable bed. Heat worked wonderfully. Internet was good. Host left goodies for us in the room which were very thoughtful and yummy! Location was close to so much shopping, restaurants, etc. Short drive to Longwood Gardens. Would return for a future stay.

We loved our stay here. Cheryl and Don are gracious hosts and left special touches like muffins and hard boiled eggs for our first breakfast. The area was located in a great area with easy access to many great historic sites. I would love to stay here again and do another visit to the Longwood Gardens.

We had a wonderful stay at this property while attending the University of Delaware football game. The drive to the stadium was about 20 minutes with traffic, which was very convenient. The hosts were AMAZING and incredibly accommodating, making our visit smooth and comfortable. The location is excellent, with outstanding restaurants, a movie theater, and a mall just minutes away. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Wilmington area!

Lovely stay

This is a beautiful home with beautiful landscaping. We were greeted with a personal note from the host and muffins ready for breakfast the next morning. The two room suite was a sitting room with comfy chairs, TV, and desk & a large bedroom and bath. Sadly, our schedule didn’t allow us to meet the hosts or take advantage of the outdoor spaces. All in all, it worked great for us.

Friends trip to Longwood Gardens

This is such a fantastic suite close to Longwood Gardens and many restaurants. The hosts were excellent at communicating. The suite was very clean and spacious with lots of little extras to make our stay special! There is a very nice mini fridge and microwave. Cheryl and Don had Gluten Free muffins, cookies & hard boiled eggs ready for our arrival! They even hand wrote a lovely welcome note. I’d recommend it to anyone and would love to visit again! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely space!

The best of Brandywine Valley

Beautiful property with lots of thoughtful touches - muffins and eggs. The patio area was a real delight as bird feeders brought feathered friends and a flock of Canada geese grazed in the nearby open area. Close to Longwood Gardens and Brandywine Creek State Park provided the ideal location.

Lovely stay close to Longwood Gardens

My husband and I felt right at home at Cheryl and Don’s property. The suite is clean and nicely decorated. The robes, assorted reading materials and binder full of recommendations were a great addition. We appreciated the homemade muffins, coffee/tea supplies and hard boiled eggs. The location is quiet, secure and conveniently located to many attractions. .
