Unable to complete stay due to severe blizzard conditions requiring last-minute cancellation (although we had more than 72 hours notice before the stay)
Disappointed by the property's no-refund cancellation policy, particularly given the circumstances were weather-related and beyond our control.
The policy seems unfair to guests - when a room is cancelled and likely re-sold to another guest, keeping the full payment appears to be double-charging for the same accommodation.
A more reasonable approach would include partial refunds for cancellations made with adequate notice (24+ hours), especially for weather emergencies.
While I understand businesses need cancellation policies, this one feels overly punitive and doesn't account for genuine emergencies or safety concerns.
