The whole family met up at the Fischer Farmhouse and enjoyed a long holiday weekend in a beautiful place. It is the most appointed home that I have ever stayed at which made it feel so comfortable. Everyone was very happy with their beds and all slept well. We enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and the hot tub in the evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again because it is so close to everything in the area. So nice!

Great Texas getaway

Our vacation to Texas hill country was amazing. Lots of room for our family to sprawl out and enjoy the wonderful views and amenities that were provided. Highly recommend this option for anyone that might be looking for a getaway off the beaten path.

First VRBO

Beautiful property. Clean. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms for our group of 5 adults. This was a 2 night stay for a family wedding. It would be a great property for a longer stay. However, it was stressful because of the number of rules. I don’t know if that is common with all VRBO. We would probably book a standard hotel room the next time.

Hidden Gem in the Hill Country!

Close to lots of Day adventures the property offers a great space for family to use as a home base. Jacob’s Well, Wimberley’s fun shopping and eating, and so much more! Looking for a quiet respite after a busy day it offers peace and quiet to enjoy your evening. Awesome Sunrise opportunities and bird watching! A must see!

Great Place!

Our Family of 5 adults and two small boys could not have spent our Christmas at a more perfect place! The property is quiet with beautiful views and lots of room for peaceful walks. The home is very well equipped and stocked with everything you could need. We never left the property during our stay over Christmas and enjoyed cooking some great meals, game playing, and just enjoying the beautiful home and views!

Beautiful property and a great location for all of the different things we wanted to do. House was everything VRBO mentioned and so much more. Will definitely come back lots of thing we didn’t have time to do or didn’t realize we had to book in advance like Jacobs Well.

SAFETY ISSUE

The property is beautiful, inside and out. However, there is one MAJOR safety issue that needs to be addressed, in my opinion. The living room area is "sunken" so there is a step down from the dining room to the living room and from the kitchen hallway to the living room. The engineered flooring is the exact same color and pattern, making the step down difficult to see. We had a 95 year old, on a walker, who did not see the step down. She fell and had to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room in San Marcos. She had multiple contusions, bleeding and a broken arm. We are thankful she did not break her hip. My wife fell at the same spot a day earlier, but was not hurt. Should there not be something like a stripe or something to help people see that the floor has a drop off? It is well "camouflaged" because it has the same flooring, laid out in the same direction and is VERY difficult to see. I would NOT recommend the property to anyone else due to this issue, which needs to be fixed immediately, in my opinion. I have pictures from various angles if you want them.

Location in countryside. Very quiet with lovely views. House is comfortable with great kitchen and living areas. One bedroom wing with 4 beds and a half bath without a shower or tub. Must share with second bedroom wing. Not a good plan

Beautiful View

This home is big and beautiful. The fire pit is fantastic. The hot tub is in a great location to enjoy the view. The windows open wide to let the cool air in. Everything was clean and updated. My only suggestion- I unpack completely on vacation. Hate living out of a suitcase. Chest of drawers in all the bedrooms and an armoire in the double queen would be so appreciated.
