Stayed for one night to attend an event in central Winchester, which is a 10 minute drive away. The room itself was lovely and clean. The breakfast was excellent - lots of variety for all appetites and tastes. Was replenished regularly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

The room was clean and tidy, loved the complimentary drinks and snacks. However, maybe cans of coke or lemonade would have been nice instead of wine and lager, but thats a personal choice. On the second day, we did leave a note on the door for the room to be tidied as we needed clean cups and glasses, but this wasnt done! The lady did knock in the afternoon, but we were already back in the room and had to try and clean the cups ourselves.

This is our second visit as Mother and Daughter - it's becoming a pre-Christmas tradition. We love this hotel. It is so cozy! Always clean, always friendly and always a welcomed retreat. Spa, restaurant etc is lovely. Parking great and the bus stop directly outside takes you straight into the town centre for a bit of shopping - such an easy place to have as a base for exploring and staying in Winchester. We'll be back again next year!

Staff were lovely and room was very clean. I was travelling with three kids, who were a bit disappointed to see one single Mars Bar in the complementary Mini Fridge for everyone! Also, could have done with more than 4 milks for the tea and coffee. However, breakfast was the highlight for us, lots of choice for everyone.

Everything about our stay was spot on - that’s not to say that nothing went wrong but it was rectified without fuss or difficulty. The kitchen and breakfast teams were particularly good with my daughter’s allergies and could not have been more accommodating - thank you!

Excellent bed and bedding. Nice and quiet at night. Clean and well kept. Loved that you can put aircon as low as 17C. Interior design was fun. Free wifi. Car parking is £10 per night, considering that the hotel is somewhat remote, it seems quite a lot.

Dirty bathroom with long brown hair left everywhere, blood stain on bath towel, grime & mould around shower screen joints & grouting. Bathroom needs updating. Paid for 3 person breakfast but due to poor communication between reception & restaurant, they only had 2 names on their list. Despite showing screenshot proof of payment, the rude front of house staff refused to help and just told us to go away. Eventually after queuing for 10 mins at Reception, she agreed to come with us to speak to the other staff. No apology from neither the receptionist nor the front of house/breakfast host. Booked parking for 2 vehicles & luckily for another reason, discovered payment was only taken and processed fro only one car. We would’ve received a ticket which would’ve been our fault. The aircon/ventilation system was turned off overnight. The room became hot and very stuffy, we couldn’t sleep.
