Lake Windermere Getaway!

RARE find as this property comes with a boat buoy and a docks to conveniently load your family and gear into the boat! So your watercraft can securely stay in the water for the duration of your stay. Approved by RDEK as STR 29-24! This property is a four-season, immaculately maintained getaway complete with stunning mountain and lake views. A perfect place to create unforgettable memories all year round! The house is located in Windermere, BC and is within minutes of many world renowned ski resorts, 10 world-class golf resorts, 2 natural hot springs, gorgeous hiking trails and the Lake! Come soak in some Relaxation & Sunshine!!

The space:

Our home has an open concept with the large master bedroom and ensuite, 2nd bedroom/den, kitchen and family room on the main level. The walkout basement is complete with three bedrooms, full bathroom and a large family room. This “Lake Getaway” provides both privacy and ample room for family and guests. There is a large deck off the main floor with a BBQ and dining set. The front of the house has a beautiful garden area and there are many mature trees around the almost 1 acre property. The beach is a short 6 minute walk away and the dock is in from May long to September long weekend. The boat buoy is good to use from May 1st until the end of October and then strap your skates on and enjoy the whiteway when the lake freezes in December. The white way is a maintained 32 km skating pathway that connects Windermere to Invermere and loops the lake. You won’t be disappointed in this property and we will do whatever we can to make your trip more enjoyable!

Invermere is a year-round recreation community. With award-winning golf courses including The Springs, Eagle Ranch, Grey Wolf, Copper Pointe Golf, Radium and Windermere Vally.

Local Mountains: Panorama Ski Resort, Fairmont Ski Resort, Kimberley ski resort and Kicking Horse

Beaches: James Chabot Provincial Park, Kinsmen Beach, Windermere Beach

The detached garage is Locked and not accessible. There is plenty of parking on the driveway for multiple cars

One of the closets in the master bedroom is locked and holds personal belongings so it is not accessible.

Keypad entry at front door code will be sent to guests 5 days before check in

We give our guests their space but we can be reached if they have any questions or need help.

Our families had a wonderful weekend stay at Joel’s property. There were so many activities for the children to do, no one was ever bored… a favorite was the zip line!!! They could not stop! The property is large so there was room for everyone inside and outside. We held an Easter egg hunt and the children had so much fun exploring the property looking for their eggs. The home was so clean, and so well equipped. Everything we needed was at our disposal. Beds/pillows/couches were all super comfortable. Owners were quick to respond when we needed to check in earlier. Overall, we had a great stay and we look forward to return to this property on our next visit to BC.

Great location!

Our family had such a great time at this property. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots for everyone to do. The house was very clean and well equipped. The highlight for our family was the private beach and dock as well as the buoy for mooring our boat. It was so nice to just have it there ready to go in the morning without having to pull it in and out of the water every day. Would love to visit this property again!!

Home away from home

This place is where the term “home away from home” comes from! The place was cozy, convenient, kitchen fully stocked so we could make amazing meals, lovely lawn to play games on, amazing view of sunset! The dining table on the deck was amazing for bbq’s. we had the best week stay here with no complaints.

Great Summer Vacation Property

Awesome Family Vacation!

This rental was perfect for our families needs. Great location with easy access to beach and town. The kitchen was stocked with every cookware we needed. There were several outdoor spaces to sit so you could escape the hot sun but remain outside. Lots of cozy beds to choose from. Communication with Joel was so easy and accessible. I would definitely recommend for an extended family or group of friends.

Fabulous Family vacation!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family get together! The house was immaculate, tons of room for our group of 10. Well decorated and appointed bedrooms, kitchen living areas. The decks and patio areas were spacious and so comfortable. The fire pit area was also a huge hit, lots of chairs to sit around and chat. The house is really separated from neighbours and there wasn’t a lot of road noise despite being right off the highway. Super convenient location - close enough to the beach and the lovely Windermere market to walk. The owners were absolutely incredible. Such lovely people and so accommodating and friendly. I feel like they were friends rather than just owners! Answered every question we might have had quickly. Check in and out was also super easy. No issues at all. Everyone in the family thought this was the best family vacation we’ve had to date! Can’t wait for next time!

Amazing stay

This property has everything you could ask for to accommodate a large group. Great location, just a short cab ride anywhere and has a great view. If you’re looking for a quiet get away I highly recommended staying here, the hosts were great, very informative and easy to get ahold of.

Lovely Spacious Home

This lovely home is located in Windermere off the highway 93. It is a clean spacious place and well stocked with dishes, cutlery, cups/glasses, condiments, coffee, baking supplies, plastic wrap/aluminum foil, towels, bedding, blankets, etc. It had everything you needed for a weekend trip! It was the best stocked VRBO we’ve stayed in! It was very family friendly too, it had games and toys which was a bonus! It had a nice view of the lake and nice fire pit including chairs and roasting sticks. There were also swings and a slide for the kids to play on. We stayed there in December when the weather was a little chilly out. However the home was nicely decorated for the holidays which was very welcoming! The only downside was the basement was very cold and even when turning up the heat. Regardless we had a great stay and would recommend it!
