Beautiful and clean property. Great room, comfortable bed, a good night’s sleep. Close by to a number of parks, great for strolling and viewing statues and sculptures. Nearby footbridge, nice views. Able to walk to the Parliament building, beautiful grounds. An enjoyable stay.

Our room was close to the elevator, so we heard people coming and going all night - could make out every word they said. Around 2.50am, we could hear 2 men talking in the room next to us. Woke up from a dead sleep - having to be up at 3.50am to catch a flight. The walls were paper thin and I could make out almost everything they were saying. The other comment would be if I could hear them that clearly, they could likely hear us. I wouldn't stay at the hotel again for that reason as I suspect all the rooms are the same.

This is a lovely, vintage hotel from the era of the Royal York or the Banff Springs. It is ideally situated close to the train station and walkable to the riverfront and the Forks Market. Several common areas to curl up on a couch for a cup of tea and relaxing. The Spa is incredible! Staff are helpful and friendly. We hope to come back soon

The room that we stayed in was recently renovated. It was lovely. One of the most comfortable mattresses we have ever slept on. The shower is fantastic.

The hotel location was fabulous. However, The rooms were too small, stuffy, there was NO view (except to into the adjacent room). We could hear music until 2 or so. I am going to look elsewhere for accommodation next time and wouldn’t recommend.
