Lovely house in a fantastic area
We really loved this house. It's been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean. Its all very functional and easy. The estate agent who manages the house was very easy to deal with, eg when we wanted to stay an extra night.
The area has tons to offer (albeit some places are a 40 minute drive). Sutton Hoo just down the road, then Framlingham Castle and Orford Castle, Aldeburgh and Southwold (for any George Orwell fans!). Woodbridge is a nice local town, and there are some good walks in the surrounding countryside.
Would very happily stay in this house again.

Looked lovely and was even better than expected
From arrival we fell in love with the property. Charming and unusual. Very clean and perfect selection of items left for arrival so we could sit in the lovely garden with a cup of tea. We didn't realise there was a shop virtually opposite which was ideal. The pub has limited opening hours which was a bit of a shock but we soon found that applied to a lot of places which made us giggle and cautious about checking before setting off anywhere. We had a massive downpour the first morning which turned 'the street' into a river but other than that was really hot and sunny so we saw Suffolk at its best. No complaints at all just compliments. We were particularly touched with the addition of fresh flowers upstairs and downstairs which is the kind of gesture that shows you are staying somewhere special.
