Check in and out was easy. First thing I noticed upon entering the room was the floor by the door was sticky. The second thing I noticed was how I could hear multiple TVs and people talking; the walls are thin and there is a gap between the doors and floor where some type of strip/guard should be. I could see the hallway carpet from the bench in the room. The room had details that were not clean…a couple stray hairs from a previous guest in the shower, dust in the corners, and a random Jesus figurine balanced on door frame. Other similarly priced hotels I stayed in on this trip had a much cleaner feel. The microwave popped only half a bag of popcorn. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Pool and hot tub were nice and warm. Be aware the deck is slippery and the pool towels are a joke…I don’t think they’d even wrap around a baby. Standard black out curtains and good bed helped with sleep. Breakfast was standard, but it bothered me the lady stocking it was coughing and not turning away from the food. I wanted a cup of coffee in my room but they provided only decaf coffee in the room. It was okay and safe for one night but I’ll look elsewhere next time.
The white between the door and floor is the light coming from the hallway. I could see the carpet.
Somebody put a figurine on a door frame in the room. Who knows how long it’s been since the frames have been wiped down or dusted.

Breakfast area was nice... decent choice.. would have liked a few more hot items to choose from (breakfast potatoes, sausage, etc). The room had a lot of space and the bed was comfortable! The only thing I could really point out is that the carpet in the room is dated. Other than that, a great stay!

When a child is puking with 4 hour travel time to hotel, there should be policy for refund as parents can not control when a child gets sick. Front staff was mouthy and hung up the phone before conversation was done. Manager said no recording and unaware if front staff did that or not, not what a person wants to hear after dealing with puking child while traveling and being told we are out the money for hotel. Expedia, our booking site, called hotel and they refused to waive fee for refund due to strict policy. Need to do better and understand circumstances come up with no control. I have nothing bad to say against Expedia and will continue to book through them.

The staff was so friendly. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed and pillows. It’s an older hotel but well maintained. We had a couple of minor issues which were addressed and fixed immediately which was very impressive. Breakfast was nice and very well stocked and maintained. Hotel was quiet and great location.
