Just loved our stay at The New Grand. Had a fantastic view, huge room, spotlessly clean and the staff were just amazing. Do yourself a favour and stay here, you won’t regret it. Definitely staying there again when we go back.

1) The American Breakfast is mis-named: no cereals, pancakes, muffins... A better name would be Western Breakfast. With a limited choice, you're actually paying for excellent service and an amazing view, rather than the food. 2) Front of house in the cafe should know all about all menu options without having to ask, e.g. what's in the quiche. 3) I don't think that the space under the bed (room 414) had made the acquaintance of a vacuum cleaner in several years. 4) Wonderful staff - polite and very helpful All in all, a joy to revisit.
