Probably the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Concierge was great she booked us an English speaking driver for a 3 hour tour. Also booked a great lunchtime dinner cruise around the harbor which was great. Short walk to China town

Ocean view is excellent place to watch the cruise ships land. You are so close to shopping at Motomachi, redbrick warehouse, Chinatown, etc. very convenient. The staff is so polite and so willing to help at anytime. Lived the staff. The room was very spacious. If I have one concern, it would be the bath and toilet space. It is very cramped. This is a superb classical hotel. The only fly in the ointment was the food at the Cafe. The steak was thin and tough the desert (rum ball ) was dry and had no hint of rum. Other wise it is a 5 star hotel.

One. Might stay pre. Cruise. Location fabulous. Staff absolutely excellent, polite, friendly and courteous. Arranged taxis for us and money exchange. The staff is what overwhelmed me about this hotel. Facilities in bathroom and toiletries were amazing Thought of everything

Hotel New Grand is located in a great location by the Osambashi Pier and new Chinatown which provides multiple dining options and entertainment venues. The hotel is clean, safe, and has a pleasant staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely property, great staff, very helpful and friendly. Great location near cruise pier and large city park. Summer festival was ongoing in mid August with terrific fireworks show.

I was staying at the 16th floor for a business trip.Service was very good and the location is fantastic. Close to subways (5 minutes walking) and Chinatown (10 minutes walking) if you like Chinese food. It is right across from the Yakahoma pier. Night view was majical.
